Very easily cracks

After the first use the base cracked in two places. It had already cooled completely and while I was washing the cracks appeared. I was using cool water on the cool stoneware with a soft cloth.

Met Expectations

Product is simple, easy to use and does what it’s intended to do. I checked pricing for similar items and this appeared to be the best bang for the buck. Finally, Roots and Harvest, whom I’d never done business with before, really jumped on the shipping aspect of the deal and my order was at my door much quicker than I anticipated. Five stars across the board.

Beautiful . Came broken in November and has not been replaced. (Jan. 3.) would not recommend .

Dominion Bread Baker

Received my Dominion Bread Baker and love it!! The bread comes out with a great crust, and the crumb is excellent.

This stoneware covered bowl is gorgeous. I have one small problem. As an elderly woman I cannot lift the bowl because of its weight. Frankly I can barely lift the lid. It is my fault for ordering it. I should have been more aware of its weight. In hindsight I should have ordered a smaller size. Returning it is probably very expensive because of its weight.I was just so happy it was American made.

Very nice addition to the kitchen! Have used it several times. Perfect loaves every time!

Bread making made easy and delicious

Our first attempt at bread making and following your directions was spot on. We used a borrowed recipe from a seasoned bread maker. Nothing fancy,just the basics. Your oven performed perfectly for 2 different loaves. Highly recommend it to all.

This item was just what I have been looking for! It isn’t cheap either. Well made and heavy!

Cracked

It made an amazing loaf of bread the first time using it. However the second time using it the bottom pan developed a hairline crack from the lip to the center. I followed all the directions so something maybe the ceramic had a bubble. This was a splurge for me, so a little disappointed that it's trash now.

Great baker

Love this item; I have been baking bread for many years and final decided to buy a cloche. The loaves bake up beautifully with a nice crispy crust.

It is heavy and awkward to use. Maybe just my inexperience. I don't see any greater results with using this than using the enameled cast iron pots or the silicone bakers.

The bread baker turned out to be everything I had hoped. Well made and beautiful. A piece to be handed down through the generations.

Stoneware Baker

After breaking the lid of my french made cloche I purchased this as a replacement and at half the cost. So far it does exactly the same job, you can safely preheat it for any artisan bread you are baking. The handle on the lid can be easily grabbed with an oven mitt, just be careful, if you treat it gently it should last for years.
