Purchased this wall plate for our bedroom. It goes great against our gray walls. I like that it has a nice, simple finish. I did not want anything too ornate. The Decora wall plate in oil rubbed bronze is very dark, almost black looking. If you are looking for something brown this is not it. The screws were easily scratched. Hence the good rating. It is of decent weight.

This switch cover did everything I expected and the screws match well. It is heavy duty and durable. The decor of oil rubbed bronze seems to be a design that is going to be even more popular in the future and we were using the large switches for a change and because they don't stick out from the wall so far and are easier for children to reach...not sure if that is good or bad!

The Continental 1 Decora Wall Plate in Oil Rubbed Bronze is not what I expected. The wall plate is poorly made because there are flaws along the framing that give the wall plate a poor and bad quality look. The lines are not clean because the flaws takes away from the impressionable style and color that would otherwise make the wall plate a decoration piece to show off. The oil rubbed bronze is a nice color, bu I had to reduce my rating because of the poor finished quality and look

I specs for this item listed the size as 5”...

I specs for this item listed the size as 5” by 3.88”. Didn’t realize size included the packaging. This plate was much smaller and this defeated the purpose of ordering it. The specs need to be updated to avoid disappointing future customers
