Great Live-Fire Cooking

Amazing grill! Wanted something I could do some live-fire cooking with, without spending a fortune. Easy to adjust the grates, they don’t slide once you tighten the handle. Great quality!

Great Choice for Open Fire Cooking!

Great for beginners, I use this often for regular grilling and very high heat searing for meat. Veggies are great cooked on it as well, not good for smoking because there's nothing to trap smoke in. I would purchase this if you're interested in live fire cooking but do not want to spend lots of money purchasing one.

I recently bought this grill. My third from O J grills. I can't wait to season and cook with it. I had some initial firebox issues and the O J grills customer service resolved the problem with a quick phone call. That meant a lot that they took care of my QC issue without any run around. Keep making great products. I also bought many accessories to go with my new firecraft grill!

Bundle

Very happy with the bundle. The cost was actually less than the cost of the grill alone in the store. Unfortunately, the ash-collector drawer was damaged which was a disappointment. Love the grill and the versatility of the adjustable cooking surfaces!

Excellent addition to my grill fleet.

This is a really fun grill. I find myself using it more than my pellet grill and gas grill. Seems to be well made and went together very easily. I didn't have any issues with the cooking grates leaning towards the center. I also don't see the need for gloves when adjusting grates. It comes with a handy tool to hook onto the basket frame and the plastic knob for setting tension does not transfer heat. If I had one criticism it would be the steel grates, they will flash rust with humidity, but for the price I understand why they did it. I highly recommend buying the cover, it's one of the nicest grill covers I've ever had.

Horrible handle weld job. Snapped off before use.

Grill grate handle has a VERY small and cheaply done weld. The first touch to it, it snapped off. Not happy at all. Wasn’t even done building it and it broke off.

Really cool concept pit…. But….

I bought this during the July 4th sale. Took delivery of it and assembled it today, July 10th. Shipping was fast. Assembly was super easy, one hour total. Haven’t cooked on it yet because I have some touch up work to do first…. My wife owns a small machining business that mills and lathes parts for the government, SpaceX, GE and Ingersoll Rand. I personally know that any parts received out of spec, rusty or chipped/scratched after powder coating are immediately scrapped or sent back to be redone at her expense. I’m only giving this 3/5 stars because the inside of the brackets were rusty, the barrel has a huge scrape on it and the corner welds are chipped. In addition, the 2 round cooking grates were badly warped and had to be straightened and leveled to sit properly. I’m not nit picking, but a company who comes so highly recommended on YouTube was a bit disappointing. That said, I am looking forward to cooking on it soon and my reviews will be up on my forthcoming YouTube channel shortly.

Love the Firecraft Series Barrel Grill!!

Only cooked on it once so far but my goodness....best porterhouse steaks I've ever made. Love this grill so far!! Strongly recommend. Very sturdy,.easy to put together.

Endless possibilities

I love cooking over an open fire. This thing is great. It hold my heaviest Dutch oven full of chili. Tritip came out awesome. This fall football season it’s gonna be working overtime. Folks can build their own kabobs and cook them. Fresh shrimp. Chili. Brunswick stew. Flame broiled burgers. It’s endless.

I like the grill! Did not think Home Depot did a good job.. when I buy something I don’t want to join anything! I want to pay and get what I want! No extra BS. They are more BS than product!

Great grill, one of the best!

Great product! The overall quality is excellent, the assembly is quite firm and what I like the most was the design with adjustable grills that allows you to cook different foods according to the het required. I am very happy with my new grill.

Live-Fire Cooking!!!

Have been using this for about a month now, and I have to say it's SO much fun to grill on. I absolutely love traditional live-fire cooking and the flavors you can get. Grill is very well built and easy to use and manage the fire with. My friends are also quite impressed with the setup and said the food I have cooked them is among the best they've had! Definitely recommend.

Awesome grill! Ordered a few months ago as a first time entry in The Great Steak Cook-off contest. A team of four ladies just one first place yesterday beating all the other teams!! This grill is perfect for ribeye steaks.

Great setup to grill

I am a new owner of this product. I cannot say enough about it. I have used it about 7 times. The best so far has been the T-bone steaks. With the adjust cooking grates I was able to grill to the internal I needed with the grate raised. I then lowered it to the lowest setting and reverse seared to our liking. It was a very easy assembly with the instructions. Took about 40 minutes to put together. The features are some of the best. The adjustments grates slide very easily up and down the bar. One of my favorite features is the ash clean out drawer. It takes only a few moments to clean without removing any of the grates. The side shelves are big enough to hold your meats, sauces and seasonings and keep them handy. They hit it out of the ballpark with this one.
