Disappointed

Received item and it came used . The pepper mill looked like it was used. The salt mill had salt inside! Some salt and pepper flakes left on the packaging tape. I wish someone would have checked before sending this out to me. Now I can’t even return it because it’s past date of return. Was so excited to use these.

Salt shaker had salt in it when it arrived. It appeared to have already been used and returned and then mailed to me .

Great, kind of.

I got these handsome mills a year ago. They feel good in the hand, nice weight and balance. The mill mechanism is quite good. The size adjustment is well designed and easy to use. My main complaint is the device that the cap uses to attach to the wooden body. It is a plastic pronged friction-fit fitting that has broken on both the salt and pepper mills in less than a year. I do not consider this acceptable for hundred dollars worth of salt and pepper tools. Cole & Mason, if you read this, please get your act together. The milling mechanism is good and satisfying. Make the damn things last!

Beautiful salt and pepper

Sleek and beautiful. Look great on the table . Would make a great gift as well and as a nice touch they arrive with salt and pepper inside.

Ordered this thinking it was brand new. Items came in a slightly damaged box and grinders were filled with some salt and pepper already indicating they were used. Not what I expected.

Outstanding quality!

So glad I finally bought this set! Have been eying this for a while and finally had the "courage" to spoil myself with this set. While an expensive set, definitely worth the price. Love the 6 settings for the grinders - you can have the finest pepper but also the coarse one! Wood has a very pretty color and matches my decor style. Couldn't have been happier with this set!

Excellent Set of Grinders

the Cole & Mason salt and pepper grinders are an excellent choice for quality and appearance, they suit our decor so well, and are easy to refill. so much better then the standard supermarket ones.

 this is a great housewarming present for my buddy down in Florida. They are doing great things with it and entertaining immensely. Thank you Wayfair for having such great prices and such awesome products! -)

Mills that Really Grind!

Beautiful and functional

Nice looking Salt and Pepper Mill

The range of grind settings are great. The set is very attractive and easy to use. My only complaint is they are smaller than I thought they would be and they are awkward to fill. Some of my peppercorns were too big to fit in the pepper mill.

Great looking set but the pepper fell apart on the second dinner. I bragged about these then this happened. Not put together well.

Gorgeous. Perfect anniversary gift for my hubby. Forty-six years of marriage, and I know he loves the elegance of a nice pepper shaker. I decided to take the chance he’d like the salt grinder too. He loves this set.
