Easy install, caveat one of four lamps bought, doesn’t react to remote pairing at a distance, had to shuffle lamps around to bypass as the one lamp could not be the furthest one from the others, otherwise when triggering the remote with 4 lamps only 3 would respond to changes, otherwise would rate higher, heavy duty metal casing, bright light, happy with purchase!
Not good.
They are not bright. The light part is heavy, the stake is cheap plastic. There is no “beam” just light from the unit itself. They’re not 5G compatible, so buying a Smart Bridge is not advisable either. Smart Bridge is only 2.4 G compatible. There is lots of colors, but they are not bright. I was looking for lights that shined a beam onto the house. These are not those. Returning.
If is not super dark, the light don’t turn on
Works Great
Very happy with these. Bought another one since this purchase.
Buying More
Bought this last summer and they work so well, I just ordered 2 more of these, plus 2 stick post, 2 mushroom post and 5 hardwire to replace my porch light, shed light, 2 garage lights and add a patio light.
Don't work very well
They have been charging on the sun for several days but:
They leaked water into the light. neither one operates.
Spent 1 hour and 45 mins with Feit Technical Support. At the end, the recommended that I bring them back to Home Depot for replacement. The lights would not work for the full 8 hours even though it is sunny all day in North Carolina. The solar panels on 7 of the units were opaque that perhaps would interfere with proper charging. On 2 units the battery was deffective. I followed the instructions and talked with Feit support but no solution.
[Rewarded Review] Very versatile but….
Love just about very solar floodlight because of the ease in set up and no wires. This set does so much more in terms of a variety of color to chose from and it comes with a remote. Plus you can mount them and the remote or you can use the ground stakes. I chose the ground stakes for my Halloween lawn inflatables. I was so excited to use either the orange or the green to highlight my decoration but it did not illuminate as I had hoped. Some of my decorations are white so they should look vibrant in my color of choice but sadly did not. I truly did not see the color until I held it directly on the inflatable almost touching it! I do like the different hues of white which is what I used. Really highlighted my decoration. Easy to use convenient remote with timer and solar charged well. Would have given it 5 stars if the colors would have been better illuminating. Still think it’s definitely worth having.
[Rewarded Review] Excellent quality lights with many color choices and easy to use
Great higher quality 100 Lumens outdoor solar landscape lights that give you a great deal of color choices and ways to operate. Talk about easy install…just find a sunny spot and angle the lights towards your object(s). There are 5 white tones and 8 colors for a great way to accent your area. You can angle the solar panel on top to get the best sunlight absorption and tilt and move it and it will stay in place. The housing is made of a powder coated bronze metal while the spike for ground insertion is a heavy gauge plastic that twist locks into place. Another cool thing is the included remote control that allows for customization, groups, timer, brightness adjustments and color. You can sync both units together for simple color changes, timers etc. You can also use without the remote and just depress the rubber coated button to change color or whites and it will come on at dusk and turn off approx 8 hours later(depends on sun exposure). Overall a really great way to give some light and color to your landscape and make it special at night.
[Rewarded Review] Nice Lights but...
These solar powered landscape lights are quite nice. They illuminate features in my yard well, and I like the LED color options. The installation involves merely attaching the light fixtures to the mounting stakes. However, I disagree with the instructions that guide the user to install the stakes in the ground first, then attach the light fixture. The light fixture attaches by rotating it into the top of the stake. To aim the light correctly (horizontally), I attached the stake first, aimed it in the direction I wanted then gently pressed the stake into the ground (holding the stake not the light fixture) to mark the orientation. I removed the light from the ground, removed the fixture from the stake, permanently installed the stake, then re-attached the fixture. This way, I was able to aim the fixture precisely. The lights can be adjusted vertically by loosening a knob, setting the desired position, then tightening the knob. They seem to be charging and operating fine every day, though I don’t know if the batteries last all night. I wasn’t able to get the remote to work. The setup involves the usual process of locating your home wireless network and joining the lights and remote. Unfortunately, several attempts were unsuccessful. The remote has group numbers which I found confusing. However, since I didn’t get it to connect, I wasn’t able to work with it to understand the concept. I’ve been using them with the basic sunset-to-dust photo sensors and they seem fine. The colors of the lights can be changed by simply pushing a button on the fixture repeatedly until the desired color is selected. From my point of view, I’m not sure that the remote is really needed. While I like the fixtures, I don’t recommend the product because I don’t think the value is there.
[Rewarded Review] Solar lights.
We got the solar lights for our front yard and we like them so much. We did not have to run wires or have electricity. The set up is simple. You need to hammer the base into the ground then place the solar head on top the adust the angle. You change the angle by an adjustable wing nut on the head. It has a remote that can be paired with to turn on or change color or run time. We love it and glad we got them.
[Rewarded Review] Nice Accent Landscape Lighting
These solar light do a really good job at lighting my trees and plants. I prefer the white light versus the various color options because it is much brighter. I tried red, blue, yellow and green but I did not think it lit up bright enough. I also am having trouble getting the remote control to work. The directions for use are not very good. Overall, the light look great and light up well but they need better instructions for use.
[Rewarded Review] Poor Lighting Power
These two solar lights are well made and sturdy. They have an attractive bronze finish and appearance which compliments any landscape. Set up is very simple. All you have to do is put them together and stick them in the ground. No wiring is required. Being LED and dusk to Dawn makes them very energy efficient. Being able to control the lights from inside the house with a remote control is a handy feature. The reason I gave these lights only two stars is that they only illuminate a very small area. They are not nearly powerful enough. They are useful for decoration only.
Average to Good...I purchased 6 of these units, 3 boxes with two in each. Of the 6, one unit was defective and had to be returned. They last about 5 to 6 hours before running out of power after one month in service, that meets my expectations. I continue to monitor their performance. In color mode, they are much dimmer (less lumens) than in white light mode. Maximum lumens are in white light mode. They function well with the remote once programmed. Overall I am satisfied.
Best high quality solar lights
Best landscape lights you could purchase. Durable and classy
Lights quit working
I purchased 5 of the lights and placed them where they would get direct afternoon sun. Two of the lights stopped working. I’m returning them today. I have only been using them about 3 days
the lights failed. , would go off and on all...
