This product was purchased for office use. It has excellent space saver capabilities. The issue is the pull out drawer, unfortunately there is nothing for it to grasp hold of. Once you place supplies in it if you open it the entire drawer comes off. There were no reviews.

For the price very cheap product. Not worth the $$$$$

First off, I have to say I'm happy with the product. Both in it's versatility and it's looks. With that being said there are a couple of cons. First it's a little wobbly. It really needs a bar in the back to make it sturdier, but it's not a deal breaker. Second, the little drawer is really neat as it can slide side to side. Useful as you can slide it to where you need it. Too bad the drawer doesn't have a back stop so it just slides straight out and falls off the rails super easily. Used a suggestion in the comments to McGyver it with a couple of paperclips so it can no longer slide out.

Perfect size and shape. 10 seconds to assemble. Only minor glitch is that the drawer can slide all the way out.

I wanted a shelf for my desk. I chose this one because I liked having the space for folders/books on each end. The shelf did not disappoint in any way. It does just what I wanted - gets some small items up off of my desk so I can use the space underneath for piled up papers and what have you. I thought the drawer was a nice feature, but it wasn't really a factor in my decision to buy this shelf, and I'm glad about that because I would have been disappointed if I was expecting a "drawer". It's not a drawer, it's more like a basket that hangs on rails. What's nice is that you can move it the length of the shelf. It falls very easily, you have to be incredibly careful with it to use it as a drawer and I just don't have time for that, so I just use it as a little tray. I put my favourite pens in it, and some mints and then when I go home at night I just "dock" it back on the rails. All in all, I'm pleased that I bought it, pleased that it works the way I thought it would and happy to have some more workspace.

My desk is an antique and smaller than functional. I like this item, because it gives me a bit more space by adding a level. I put the scanner and a few other desk items on top, and I place files on the bottom, and it leaves me with more workspace. It's a tiny bit wobbly, so I wouldn't put anything too heavy on it, and I had to buy a table runner, for fear it would scratch the wood, but otherwise, it's working out nicely.

Do not buy this product!

So this is pieces that fit into each other- no other hardware. Once I get it together, it rocks back and forth because the file holders are set into the shelf with pins. The drawer is a on a slide that moves the length of the shelf, with no way to set it in one location. I could live with this. The drawer itself has no stability at all so if you open it up far enough, it comes right out. I called the Safco and after 15 minutes of being on hold, was told that there wasn't any missing pieces and that perhaps I might have gotten one that was off. But there is no way to stabilize any of it even a perfect one.. I'm returning it and I was really excited as it was just what I wanted.

Does the job!

I was pleasantly surprised at its size, sturdiness & all that it will do/organize. The side slots will hold large files. The front basket slides side to side , fantastic. Yes the drawer will pull out too easy, I made my own stopper! Just put a zip tie on each side of the drawer & it will not fall out unless you yank on it, otherwise it should work nicely. Too bad the customer had to tweak the unit , but glad I got I!
