Great find

I love this cat tree! I've been resistant to cat trees because they get so worn and old-looking, but this one blends in almost like greenery and I think it's more exciting for my cat to explore.

Does not look like the picture at all

While this was very easy to put together the branches do not stay in the holes. They constantly fall out. The cat is terrified of it. The cat doesn't even want to get near it. I tried to lure him in with catnip but as soon as I got him on the cat tree more of the branches fell out. Totally worthless. I should just bought the 2x4 and some plywood and hammered it together. I wanted something that was waterproof to put outside. This has carpet on it luckily it dries fast. But it is super sparse and not full at all like the photo. Do not recommend at all. Wish I could take it back but I wouldn't even know how to box it up and ship it

like a real tree that sways back and forth.......

I think the manufacturer was trying too hard to mimic real life 5ft tree shrubs when they made this.....

More successful than I expected!

Two cats already 6’ tall cat trees in every room, which they love, but… am always looking for something different that they might like and I liked the more formal, decorative look of this one for the living room. That, and one of the cats prefers to be hidden, and the leaves provide the necessary ‘cover,’ which can be adjusted and posed.

Fun cat tree

I assembled this cat tree myself. I used a glue gun to secure all of the branches, which took me a while longer to get it done, but it was definitely worth the extra time and effort. I like that each level swivels separately and it can easily be moved. The branches are bendable to which you can arrange any way you want them. I bent a few branches apart so that there were openings for my cat to jump through to easily get up on the different levels for easy access. My cat likes it that she can hide in the tree behind all of the leaves which are fairly dense. It’s the perfect size, not too wide or tall, although I do wish it was a little bit taller. No tools are required for assembly. Bottom of the grassy section has adjustable screw-in feet to help keep it from tipping over or keeping it level, but you really don’t have to worry about it tipping over. I placed the cat tree right next to my cat’s kitty condo which made it into a fun play area for her. I’m so glad she likes it!

Too Small For Most Cats

Love the concept of the tree, but the shelves are too small for an average sized cat. The tree would probably be appropriate for small kitttens though. The top shelf has the largest unobstructed area for a cat to sleep. My 6 lb cat could curl up there if she wanted to, but she doesn't seem to care for the tree much. The same shelf is definitely is too small for my 10 lb and my 14 lb cat. Assembly was easy and the tree is sturdier than I had expected.

They love it!! But there is a major design flaw…

My 4 month old kittens LOVE this tree. We have not had a problem with the plates being shaky. However the branches are constantly falling out. They are supposed to be attached by small plastic holders that you pop in from under the plate, then pop the bottom of the branch into the plastic bit. But they are too loose and the branches fall out daily. I have used craft gorilla glue and now super glue and I still can’t get them to stay in. Now the plastic bits are filled with dried glue and I won’t be able to try to glue them any more, so I’m going to have to contact the company to see if they can send another bag of them to me. Maybe glue + tape would work better?

Nope, pass on this tree!

I agree with many of the reviewer‘s, this tree is definitely an eyesore, the leaves do not stay in place, no matter how hard you try to install them, the little plastic pieces that are supposed to help hold them in do not work at all, it is actually better if you do install without the plastic pieces. But then the tree stem goes all the way through the hole, but then at least it stays in better, but looks even tackier. Once the cat jumps in and/or out of it, they will take one or two tree limbs with them! The only thing I do like is the color of the leaves- I do find the tree to be sturdy, but other than that the rest of it is a very poor design and the flat pieces that are suppose to accommodate a cat, will only accommodate a small cat!. I will be returning as soon as possible. Not to mention, none of my four cats will even touch it! Honestly, don’t waste your money, there are better cat trees to be ordered!

No leaves any more

Bought this tree last year for my cat because it didn't look as annoying as regular cat trees in a tiny apartment , the tree is nice in a tacky way, except for the leaves which fall every day since we bought it and the wires poke out of them becoming a stabbing hazard. cat has been tearing them all over the place so i reached out to seller to see if they had replacement leaves, they have changed their perch design to include some caps that you can stick leaves in.. here is the thing though the perch replacement doesn't come with leaves so after you add leaves you will be paying 129 dollars which is like 4 dollars more than what i paid for the original tree to get a bunch of ‘upgraded’ perches and fake leaves. It seems like a rip off and environment killing endeavor so sadly will have to look at the gross leaf-less tree now till I can figure out how to make fake leaves for it . Without leaves it looks like a waste that the stem isn't scratch-able for cats. would not recommend because of their stupid “upgrade” idea.

Not Good for Adult Cats

it's only 60 inches tall if you count the leaves. The leaves also block most of the space that cats could jump onto the tree, making it very intimidating for adult cats to use. Maybe it's fine for kittens? Definitely not great for adult cats. The center pieces are just hard plastic too, not scratch-able. And the leaves are plastic making them very enticing to some cats to chew and eat, potentially causing issues. This tree just seems like it was designed to look fancy in your home, not for cats to actually use and enjoy. The platforms are small for adult cats so they can't lay out and lounge on this tree, but the tree itself doesn't function well as even a platform to jump to other places because of all the leaves in the way.

NOT for chewers

If your cat loves chewing on plastic bags and boxes, do NOT get this tree. We were finding fakes leaves vomited up and in poop on our floors, and we ended up getting rid of the whole thing after a couple months because we were worried about our little guy’s health.

Not sure at first

Arrived on time. Packaging good except torn plastic wrap around all trunk section, but did not mar them. My cat was not sure about the tree at first and would not enter it. Next day I put on the top and she spent some time napping and trying to eat the leaves. I installed the level rotated 90 degrees apart to form steps from level to level. I don't think she knew how to get in because of all of the leaves so I picked her up an put her through the first level. Once in she figured out the way to the top. .The happy cat now spends about a third of the time napping on the top level "hidden" from the outside world. It is the first place I look for her now. You can assemble it without tools and the leaves are already attached, but I would recommend a pair of common slip joint pliers. Threading the rods (all labeled) into the nuts can be difficult if the threads are tight. The pliers give you enough grip to be confident that it is fully seated.

realistic cat tree

Our cat did not instantly warm up to this cat tree, but after spraying the three levels with catnip a few times, she eventually started to explore this odd looking thing invading her space. She does not spend as much time in it as we hoped she would. Maybe in time. One complaint is the ‘tree trunk’ is plastic, just regular PLASTIC. For some reason I thought it would have a different type of material maybe like the regular style cat trees that are out there. A scratching post type of material makes more sense to me.

Happy Hiding Place

Shirley didn’t instantly warm up to this cat tree, but after lacing the three levels with a cat nip trail a few times, she eventually figured out that it was for her.

Cool n disappointed

I ordered this for our new cat shes a breed mix that produces less feld1 the allergen . I got this today ,yay its finally here. But unfortunately it was not in bran new condition it was likely tried and returned . The items were taped with packing tape ,metal post were used, no instruction stickers and the base was stained on the bottom ,branches broken off. But that's not the biggest upset . My family can only be around certain breeds of cats ,this cat tree had other cats on it because as soon as it was assembled the allergies came pouring down ,astma in flare. Chewy has apologized and will make it right .just be cautious of items these days so many people are buying and business may not be keeping up. I hope in the future things like this are carefully watched. The tree itself is cool had I gotten new id rave on how I like the idea of it. Best wishes ,

Mixed opinions but overall worth it

I have a fairly picky cat with regards to where she likes to sleep or play, so I was a little worried she wouldn’t like this one. After a few days to get used to it, she actually enjoys hiding and sleeping on the tree.

My kitten loves this tree!

I had this cat tree in my cart for a few weeks. I just couldn't decide if it was worth it to risk a $150 flop. Anyone who has pets has the dead toy pile, lol. Anyway I just decided to go for it, and I couldn't be happier. Bealle is nearly 5 months now and she's had this tree a week or so and she practically lives in it. I would recommend this tree to anyone with a rambunctious kitten to entertain. As a bonus, it is made very well, the wood is nice and solid, it goes together easy, and it is a hit with the felines. I would add that the top tier is a little tricky to screw on. We resolved that by not screwing the middle rod down completely so we could see the hole on the top tier and have the needed leeway to secure it then we finished up by tightening everything down and off- setting the steps so kitten could get into her tree easier. I am planning to buy one for my sons cat too. Every indoor cat needs this leafy cat tree in their life, IMO.

Cat give it a Thumbs up....Well if she had thumbs

Follow Directions or Could be hard to disassemble. Has these plastic hollow tree stumps that are supposed to be labeled so you'd know which one goes where. Mine weren't labeled correctly so when you screw to top base it's too short. The base won't screw on correctly. But after nearly an hour I figured it out. I thought it would be wobbly at first but, it's pretty stable when put together. The 3 top platforms are kidney bean shaped. You can swing them a bit so they are staggered. My cat loves it because you really can't see her. I had to manipulate the leaves a bit because there was an open spot. Its closed up so no more gaps. My cat likes to swipe at people when they walk by. They really can't see her. I don't have a sweet cat she's kind of a jerk. I have her mainly to keep critters away. Georgia does her job well so, I promised her room and board.

Best Purchase Ever

So there are cat trees and then there are trees for cats! This item serves the purpose of adding a little fake greenery in my apartment but ALSO it is my cat's favorite hide out. I put it near the balcony door so he can perch in it and see outside (but not be outside because it is too cold now) and he can also spy on us in the living room. When the weather warms up I will move it onto the protected and screened in balcony. There is nothing more my cat loves to do that=n to hide out in his tree. If he is in another room and he hears me rustle the "branches" he comes running to see what is in his tree! When my daughter's cat comes to visit the two of them love to hang out on separate platforms and bat and one another. We have two other cat trees in the other rooms of our apartment, but the TREE tree is hands down the most favorite place for all cats to be. Worth every penny.

Horrible plastic smell, cat thinks it's meh

For the first two weeks we had this tree, the HORRIBLE smell literally made me nauseous. If we would have bought it locally, we would've returned it for sure. After a few weeks, the smell went away but our cat never really fell in love with this tree. She only used the very bottom platform a few times. There's no vertical scratching post. The tree trunk is plastic. After we moved, we threw it in the trash and purchased the 62" Frisco cat tree & condo instead, which our cat actually likes and uses. Also, the leaves and plastic grass could be a chewing hazard for cats with Pica (cats who chew on non-edible things). Interesting idea but poor (and cheap) execution.
