The chair shipped without the assembly hardware. The Seller was very helpful in this respect, shipping the missing parts immediately. I should have bought the wheeled version because it's a pain to pick it up and move it. It is not as comfortable as I would have liked, but for what I paid I'm not terribly dissatisfied. My cat sleeps on it when I'm not using it.
You will need a friend
Putting the chair together should be relatively easy but it was a nightmare. My sister had to get in her knees and push down so I could get the back screwed on the seat. The instructions doesn’t even mention that. It’s a shame because I love the chair but I wouldn’t buy another one because of the assembly.

i am very disappointed. missing a lot of parts, cannot put it together. i started a return last week, they said someone would get backvto me within 48 hours. that never happened!!!!
ASSEMBLY OPTION IS A HUGE SCAM
This terrible customer service. Paid $53 for assembly then after purchase was notified that a stranger from Angi’s list would come to my home to assemble. I declined that but Walmart then would only refund $10 of the assembly fee with a gift card. Enjoy that $53 Walmart, I will take my big ticket items to someone who can take care of their customers.
