PVC disconnect tools
The "disconnect" tools for PVC pipe are necessary when using PVC-Lock fittings; they work well, save time.

These tools do not fit. Will be returning the product today.
Only used the 1" Orbit PC-Lock release and the pipe shaver. The shaver makes the PVC pipe beveled on the end, making the fitting slide onto the pipe easier. They worked great. Love using the Fittings.

if you will mark the pipe orintation with a sharpe you will orintate the fittings correctely... you must dry fit first to do that,,,
Flimsy and hard to use
These are not like the shark bites that allow you to easily remove. These are hard to get off woth the tool and the rubber portion of the tool has a weak glue that holds it to the thin metal and tears easily.
They work but it's not as easy as they make...
They work but it's not as easy as they make it seem in the demo video. It seemed to me on my cuts that weren't squared well they will go in crooked and those would be tough to pull out and reset. My other cuts that I did well squared would come out easier.

Four of the five joints worked quick and easy. ...
Four of the five joints worked quick and easy. The 5th has a small drip. I purchased the release tool to reset it. It would not release. NONE of the 5 would release. I had to cut them out and use traditional joints with glue. Had it worked, the project would have take 15 min. Instead it took 6 hours and four trips to the store. Not happy.

Excellent, the tools released the pipe from the other fittings (elbow, extensions and t-fittings). The green tool deburred the pipe for a snug fit into other fittings.

Just did NOT work, in my instance of need....removing Orbit PVC-Lock about 6 years old, so must be for newer product. But not to worry, all the PVC-Lock Product easy to replace.
