I am so sad! It worked fabulous the first time I used it. It's not clogged and has a new bag that is correctly put on, but it does not suck. It literally just moves stuff around the carpet. I was so hopeful because the brand reputation. Wasted money....

Works great on carpet ans wood floors. Construction is not as good as my 16 year old unit. The cord is much better, heavier in construction. Its was almost together when we got it

Fabulous Oreck!

I have purchased several of these vacuums over the years and they never disappoint. They are amazing on hard floors and carpets. The suction is awesome! And the extra long cord lets me keep it plugged into one outlet throughout the entire house!

Better than we thought it would be!

This vacuum is better than we actually thought it would be. We are a US Naval Sea Cadet unit, located in Colt's Neck, NJ, and we needed something to "clean up" after each drill. This vac is perfect!

Great style that lasts time, but some petty cons.

I appreciate the heavy duty cord and the fact there was a bag in it because I forgot to order some. I've used this style of vacuum for years and am impressed with the side brushes, just not so impressed about the width of the bottom face, and lack of brushes on the beater bar.

Great Product!

The one like it was about 35 to 40 years old when it needed too much repair. This one seems to work great too. Should outlast me. Great product.

It is malfunction. The handle where to connect to the main body of the machine has a wrong screw hole, therefore I couldn’t screw it the body of the vacuum to secure it. It fall a part when using. It’s going back.

High quality vacuum

Ive used this brand exclusively. This particular model is a commercial model which I did not notice during the purchase process. It is a bit loud, however it is powerful and relatively lightweight. The unit was delivered earlier than expected. It arrived when I was at work. Instead of leaving it at my door the unit was delivered to my local CVS store which I thought was smart. These vacuums are no longer available to purchase from Oreck The unit appears to be new never used

I had a oreck for 13 years and loved it. The one I bought now is ok, but because it is commercial grade it doesn't do good on my medium carpet in living room. It pushes hard, so I'm going to try to resell it. My old one was blue and no adjustment on heights but worked great no matter what the surface. I paid more money for my old one.

I like the vacuum very much! This is the second oreck I’ve received. This time I did have a problem putting the handle on……the top screw was to tight to remove, my husband got home and he got it off with vice grips, he has screws so he was able to replace it! Now I have 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs! M.Hicks

High quality, vacuum cleaner

I purchased this vacuum cleaner to be used by our custodial staff at our church. I wanted a name brand vacuum cleaner that I could trust to be efficient but one without an extremely high price like is the case for most commercial vacuum cleaners. This one has not disappointed us.

Won't move on any of my carpets.

Great on hardwoods but unable to move vacuum on any carpets. Awful! It doesn't budge! I have never been able to figure out why it doesn't move on carpets. Help!! It's hardly used so it can't be worn out parts.

Iwould buy this product again and again!

I use it for general vacuuming of my home which includes wood floors and throw rugs.

Excellent value and performance

Lightweight for a commercial vac. I am a diehard Oreck fan since 1997. Bought two of these- one for a professional house cleaner and one for me. Easy to use on stairs. Long cord. I didn't rate it 5 stars because it's a bit loud and there is only one speed.

I have bought many commercial Orecks in the past.

I use it to vacuum carpeting in our good sized apartment. It does a very good job as I knew it would. We used only Orecks in a previously owned motel. Love the light weight, but wish it would roll.

Great for the Price

I bought this product because of the great sale price. So far it works as expected and advertised. I use it to vacuum the basement carpet. I would, however, prefer another model that may be a little sleeker and not as bulky.

Great product

I have purchased around 20 of these over the years for my cleaning business. They are light weight and work great. You dont have to switch from high to low floor surface, and the bags are easy to replace and empty. The suction is perfect.

Oreck never let's me down

I love, love, love this vacuum! Its flat head fits under kitchen cabinets and literally glides on thick rugs; even bathroom rug mats! Has a powerful suction and is simple to use; no extra bells or whistles. Just plug that long cord in and go.
