These mantle clips unexpectedly solved a unique problem: We have a stone-faced fireplace and a craftsman-made wood mantle "box" that floats in front of the stone. The three-sided "box" is about 6" high, giving the impression of a solid and large mantle that would not accommodate a mantle clip. But the back is open, the inside is empty, and the bottom board of the box is only about 1/2" thick. There was enough clearance behind the box to insert the MantleClip from the back and hang two short decorative fireplace brooms that had always been cute but in the way.

Not for 2.5 inch mantel

It says up to 3 inch mantel but mine is 2.5 inch and the product is too small. I did adjust it but it still was too tight. It dug into my mantel. And fyi for anyone shopping online the bronze is very shiny.

They adjust to the size of my mantel. I already had some from last year and just needed more. I will say the hardest part was finding the black ones maybe. Because they are that popular but lol I got them

A Perfect Solution

These clips are a great solution if you don't have a mantle. I was able to use them to attach our stockings to the window sill and they work perfectly. The metal has some give to it, so you're able to fit them on many different sized ledges while still having it be secure. I have started to fill the stockings and they appear to still be holding well.

These stocking holders are awesome. Easy to bend to fit exactly to your mantle...and you can actually put items in the stockings without them falling down!! :)

It's a simple item, but I just wanted to say it EXACTLY fits the thicker frame parts of IKEA Kallax bookshelves, and I really appreciate that! It has little non-mar pads on the insides of the straight pieces and the curves and it holds up a stock just fine. 5/5 stars!

Loved them & bought more

I was on the hunt for stocking hooks when I stumbled upon these. I figured I would give them a try and naturally, I loved them so much, I went back for more. They are truly flexible and fit over almost every surface of my house. Plus! The bottom grip is thick and keeps every hook in place. No scratches and super sturdy! I am very happy with my purchase.

Wish I would have bought sooner

These work!!! I ordered online and didn’t know if they would work due to the shape of my mantel. Not only does it fit, it holds the weight of a filled stocking (I have included a photo of a 2 lb jelly bean bag added inside a stocking). Very happy with this purchase. I purchased the black, it has a matte iron finish.

Cute and sturdy

Wow, what a great item! Super sturdy and yet flexible enough to tightly hold on to my furniture. It has internal padding to prevent scratches to the surface and provide a strong grip. It looks like it would hold a heavier stocking, too. I wrote our names on pieces of dark paper and taped them on and it came out so cute!

I wish I had purchased these years ago! I replaced my previously bulky and unstable stocking holders with these very attractive, strong, and sleek mantle clips. Set up was a breeze and I’m really happy with how my mantle looks now. The stockings are currently empty, so I’m not sure how much weight the clips will hold when the stockings are full, but either way these are a great item and I highly recommend them!

Great product, not just for fireplace mantels! Used this on a long high window sill to hang stockings (no fireplaces) and it worked great. They adjust easily but are strong and have cushion strips so the metal doesn't rub where in contact with mantel or anything else that's like a mantel. You can probably use these to hang other lightweight decorations or room decor throughout the year. This darker color is very nice but they do come in other colors. Easily bent back to original shape & fit back in original box for storage. Hopefully it will last years to come.
