So I ordered 1 to try, got it LOVED IT, absolutely perfect. Reordered 2 more months later, not even close to the same thickness when laying on them. Very very disappointed that the second order was not the same as the first one ordered. Second ordered pillows flatten out when laying on them. Expensive pillow to get disappointed after 1st order was perfect Not sure why its different second go around but cooling was very good in all.

A bit disappointed

The pillows were not exactly bad, but I was concerned when they arrived fully opened and not compressed into a roll like memory foam usually is. Also, the packaging description enclosed was for a mattress topper. I bought 2 of these pillows because I bought the brand in the past and loved them. These were not the same. If my son wouldn’t had liked them, I would’ve definitely returned them. Won’t buy online again.

This is not the same product I bought before

I've had several Comfort Revolution gel cooling pillows over the years and recommended them to everyone I knew. My dad somehow split his gel part apart, even though he only stays here a few times a year, it's not like he sleeps on the pillow every night... This new one I ordered him is completely different! The gel bumps are much more lumpy/severe, instead of being like smooth mounds, and the gel rectangle doesn't reach all the way across the pillow, like it always used to. I'm not the one sleeping on this one, so I'll update my review if my dad complains. It's just frustrating to buy the exact same thing, by name, a few years apart, and have them be a completely different product.

Cooling memory foam pillow

Nice firm memory foam pillow, however, I wanted COOLING as advertised. This doesn’t cool at all. The “bubble” side didn’t do anything but feel uncomfortable.

[Rewarded Review] Nice FIRM pillow!

I bought this because I tend to get really hot during the night and start sweating! I thought since it’s a cooling pillow it would help control the sweat! I’ve been using it not for almost 30 days and I still wake up with my hair soaking wet! It is definitely cooler than the other pillows I r used in the past but it’s not as cool as I need it to feel! I keep the temperature in my home at 67 degrees in the summer and 70 in the winter! Plus I sleep with with my curling fan on high every night!

Solid and heavy

The pillow is solid and extremely heavy. It does not bend at all for sleeping. The cooling gel part is fantastic!! Had to return. Maybe works for back sleepers.

So disappointed, not the same as previous pillow.

This pillow is definitely not the same as the previous model. I have been using this pillow for 10+ years and thought I should replace it, got it yesterday, it is not cooling and actually sleeps very warm. I am returning today, so disappointed. Don't know why they changed it, same your money there are better pillows out there I do not recommend this pillow..

stays cool, worst part is the blue bubbles flatten out pretty quickly. i've had one for 10 years+ and one for just a few months, obviously the 10 year old one is unusable but did last quite a long time. we like it so far, i think the quality has gone down slightly from years ago but nothing too noticable.

Not truly a 'cooling' pillow.

I was hoping this would be like a cooling pillow I bought a few years ago (that needs to be thrown out). But, the 'cooling' gel just isn't near the same as my old pillow. For one thing, on the queen pillow, there's a lot of non-cooling space. I like to 'hug' my pillow and therefore my face is normally on the 'edge' of the pillow. I will say it is a very firm pillow and good for propping yourself up with while reading in bed. However, I would not buy this pillow if you are looking for that cooling feeling.

They definitely aren’t like the first pair I bought . Original pillows were much heavier , denser , better ! These new ones are too skinny , lighter , cheaper . It’s not the same original product . Made to look like the original but not the same .

Firmer Than Expected

I honestly kind of have a love/hate relationship with this pillow. I looked for one like it for a long time and I love my pillows firm but this one is extremely firm. I'm so tired of being in the pillow search that I decided to try and make it work. If you flip it to the side where the cooling pad is not there, it is softer and the right amount of firm for me. Of course, this negates the cooling effect so I can't comment on that but I am hopeful it will flatten a little over time so I can use that side as well. If you are looking for firm and heavy, this is your pillow. I wanted those two things so I can't exactly complain.

Read before buying!!!

So let’s talk packaging of what should be a brand new clean pillow! This was simply stuffed in a thin clear unmarked plastic bag and haphazardly shoved into a torn cardboard box and barely taped shut. I bought a smaller version from Costco recently that comes in a nice foil sealed bag with actual company logo on it. This doesn’t even have manufacturer information with it. I emailed Sealy directly through Walmart and they insinuated that’s just the way the come. The cooling pad wasn’t even centered on the king size pillow. They asked for pictures, etc which I provided and then after 5 days still no response from them. I will be returning due to these quality control issues along with the fact I expect a pillow to be shipped appropriately to avoid it being soiled etc. Please look elsewhere. I rarely write reviews but I feel you should all know what to expect. Especially for a one hundred dollar pillow.

"Finally!"

I have been waiting years to be able to write what I see in other reviews, that word "finally!" I, like many, suffer from neck issues that can be absolutely awful and can sometimes result in terrible headaches after a particularly bad neck position during sleep. Also, like many, I have bought and kept countless pillows that go unused and then bought and returned many more from online shopping. Now, "finally!" I found a pillow that as of now (almost two weeks of use) has resolved 98% of my neck pain (some mornings there is absolutely zero neck pain - a miracle) and from the first night; I was in shock. I was hoping I could benefit from the cooling side but I choose to sleep on the other side because the cooling side is kind of stiff and my head doesn't sink down to put me in the perfect alignment. It's a small sacrifice because my arm under the pillow keeps cool from the cooling part and if I ever have a very hot night I can always flip it during the night. It is a HEAVY pillow, which also works for me because I move around a lot in my sleep and need something to stay put so I don't wake up from it not being in the right place and it does not move. It does have that smell of memory foam but not to the point that I notice it much through the two pillow covers I put on it, thank goodness because I have a sensitive sense of smell. I am a 5'3 female and the height and amount of give/support on the non-cooling side is absolutely perfect for my frame. I am SO glad this was on a big sale when I bought it because I never would have tried it at the original price, even though it is worth every penny for me. Good luck everyone!

Not very "cool-to-touch"

I was hoping that since this company no longer produces the dual-sided cooling pillows that used to be available at Sam's (used to be $25 for TWO memory foam pillows! It's madness what they cost now!), this pillow might be similar. I was sadly mistaken.

best pillow i've found

i've been looking for a pillow for some time now. this one is the best of the bunch for me. most pillows are made of pieces of memory foam, which gets pushed to the sides when lying on them. you Must either refluff it or turn it over to cover the big indentation from your head. this one is solid foam, so you don't have that problem. the gel works great in cooling you off; however, it does get warm after a few hours. you can't flip it over, because the foam is only on one side of the pillow. you have to rotate it end to end to reach a cooler spot.

Cool and comfy

Looks just like the picture. I love this pillow. I've used several different kinds of pillows and this is by far my favorite. I actually call it my magic pillow. Extremley comfortable and is actually cool to the touch. Truely has improved my sleep. My husband actually loves the pillow as well. Thankfully i ordered one for him too it just arrived at a later date.

I was gifted a used one and loved it!

I have had neck problems for years and have always woken up with a stiff neck each morning. I tried pillow after pillow with no help found. Then about 3 years ago I visited a good friend of mine for a week, staying in his guest room. He had one of these pillows. I woke up without a stiff neck for the first time in years after one night! The support from this pillow was exactly what I had needed. I went on and on so much about this pillow and how great my neck felt, that my friend gave me his guest room pillow. Unfortunately, the tags had all been removed and I had no way to find a new one as a replacement. I used that old, used pillow happily for 3 years until I finally recognized the pillow in an ad.

I Never Write Reviews... But...

Simply the best pillow ever made. Everyone is different when it comes to sleeping. But please give this pillow a chance. I got it for Christmas when I was about 17 and was not super enthusiastic about opening up a pillow as one of my "big gifts" little did I know I'd still be using it 7 years later and it's still my favorite pillow. My girlfriend and I fight over who gets this pillow! She loves it too!! Has not lost it's shape or it's luster. I have tried Tempur-Pedic, My Pillow, and Bamboo pillows since getting this pillow and none of them are better than this one. Get it and try it for yourself! I'll never buy another brand ever again. Reordering more now!

Doesnt look like a $50 pillow!

This didn't come in a box or even a sealed bag. It slipped right out of an open plastic bag when taking it out of the shipping box. I took the removable cover off right away to wash (from the strong foam smell) and this looks gross. A bit yellowed, not white, and the back side has small, medium and finger size holes in it. Idk if its supposed to be that way. Also, the mesh cover that stays on is clung to it in spots that look melted and seams dont look smooth.

Love this Pillow

I bought 5 different pillows to figure out which one was right for me. 4 were Memory foam and 1 was a standard pillow. I needed a pillow that was firm enough that when I laid on my back, I didn't sink to the bottom of it and when I laid on my side, it was firm enough to support my head without making my neck hurt. I didn’t want a pillow that made me sweat or one that would lose its shape after a week or two. I ended up with the 2 below that are listed my 1st choices.
