This is an expensive tile and the concept is really great, but I don’t think it was tested well before being offered to buyers. About 30% of the tiles arrived broken. The color is amazing, but when you apply the grout according to instructions it appears cracked and the dark grout fills all the cracks, it looks terrible. This product is defected and should be pulled out. Stay away.

Terrible. Half of them arrived broken. And customer service refused to do anything but tell me to return and repurchase. I had a project due and had to make it work. Terrible

Red Selenium backsplash tile

Very impressed with the quality of this tile. This is my first order using Tile Bar and the product showed up very well protected - not a single damaged tile, and all the from the same dye lot. It installed just like any other normal tile and has great depth and character. It is a hand made tile so it is not perfectly square and flat like a production tile, but that is the beauty of this tile line. Use a very small grout joint spacer (1/16" - 1/8" max) due to the natural taper on the sides of the tile to keep from having too large of a finished joint when grouted.
