cheap material, product says it will take 800 pounds. not even half that weight. squeaks alot . Do not buy.

Surprised at the quality

I got this bed for my brother who is 6’3” and 400lbs. He loves it. It is sturdy, solid wood, and super strong. Great design was together in ten minutes. Can’t wait to get myself one.

Tons of issues with getting it together. Received a faulty part for the trundle bed portion making that impossible to put together, and the footboard of the bed itself was improperly made so it also could not be constructed. I called the phone number Atlantic Furniture, the manufacturer provided and every time I called I got the answering service which would just take a message. After a few days of this, I started bugging Overstock and Atlantic Furniture on Facebook which finally got some movement. Even then it was we will send the parts requested out in a few days and then it will take about a week to arrive and then I just waited around for the parts to be shipped and then went back to Overstock (since Atlantic Furniture was no help at all) and I guess Overstock got Atlantic to provide an update that they still hadn't shipped so it was a few more days before it was shipped and the whole thing took about 3 weeks from the original delivery date to get all of the proper parts and install the bed. This was not ideal as I had guests sleeping on mattresses on the floor. Once you get all the right parts it seems like it is OK, the trundle bed doesn't roll well on carpet but as far as I can tell the bed is fine, it was just such a hassle to get all the parts that I would never purchase this bed or anything else from Atlantic Furniture.

This bed comes in different styles and I don't think I got the right parts for the trundle. I ended up having to get bed risers to fit the trundle under the bed. Also the support for the mattress did not stay in well. I ended up screwing it to the frame with my own screws and made my own holes. Other than that I have liked the bed and still would recommend it

Breaks apart when assembling

The holes don't align so forget assembling this thing. My husband is a cabinet maker and he couldn't even put it together without it breaking severely. I'd return it if I could figure out how to cover return shipping costs. Will hit the burn pile. I wish I could return it to a Walmart store! There's a reason it's on clearance
