This size of this light is great, and I appreciate the diffused extra light on my table top work area. The buttons operate by touch, which is nice because I don't have to press hard and mess up my light configuration.

Does as advertised!

Easy to assemble. I really like the various settings for brightness and 'types' of light this unit offers. I'm using it at my rope making station, which has an older sewing machine with limited lighting, so it really helps illuminate my projects. Because the light bar is flexible, I can adjust it to accommodate my bowls, baskets and bags as they 'grow'.

Have 2 of these that I use daily - one at my main sewing machine and one at my serger/Overlocker. Love the adjustability in the light levels and movement. Been going strong for several years now. Highly recommend.

Excellent lighting!

I like that I have three choices for the type of light: warm,cool,natural and for the brightness of each. Easy to attach to work table and move it to where I need it. My second purchase.

Kudos to OttLite

This OttLite is perfect for my needs. It illuminates a wide area of my work table and at the same time is unobtrusive. The touch control for the various functions works with the lightest pressure, another feature I appreciate. It was easy to assemble and install. I've already been recommending it's purchase to friends and family.

Word of caution

I have purchased several other products of which I am more than just satisfied. This review is meant as a word of caution regarding your anticipated workspace size. My particular office desk size, depth front to back, made the field of vision/work out of use when clamped from the center back. The lamp is not flexible or usable when clamped on the side. I will purchase a non clamping desk lamp to meet my need.

Love This Light!!

I really love this light! I works really well over my sewing machine. It stays cool while providing a really nice bright light. It also gives me options for different types of light. I also like it because it LED. It stays cool and doesn't cost much to use.

Light me up!

The multi feature light is a great bonus. I live in a tiny house so space for an Ottlite was limited. This one is perfect! Not only is it the best solution for my crafting area, it is also a great light for my living area too, as they are both in an 8'x11' room.

Not for puzzling

Bought this for ony puzzle table. No matter what setting it caused a glare and made my eyes tired. Gave to husband for his office. He liked it but barely lasted two years before quit working. Bulb not replaceable. Waste of money. Love Ott lites but stick to ones with replaceable bulbs. I have had 3 others that have lasted for years and love them

Good sewing light

I only marked this lamp down to 4 stars because the instructions tell you to determine which way you want the lamp to face but fail to give the simple instruction to just bend the neck to change its orientation.

Great Craft Light

I purchased this to put on the back of my art/craft table. There are 3 different light modes and 3 levels of brightness. It was easy to put together, sits high over my table, and anchors tightly to the desk top.

Skeptical paying that kind of money, but well worth it.
