Love everything except the switch for turning on

Love everything about it except the button for turning on and off...it's halfway on the cord which makes it hard for reaching down and having to move furniture to turn it on and off.

Love this light. Makes projects easier to see and reduces eye strain. Wish it had more angle adjustments and height adjustment, but I have a smaller Ottlight that does the job. Very modern looking and sleek. Definitely puts out a lot of light. Best thing is, it does not get hot!

The solid base ensure it won't easily tip over and the light is adequately bright for reading and other close-up activities. We like the simple clean lines of this lamp and it's style will fit into most decors!

Covington Floor Light

Love my Ottlite....I can now see the stitches well enough to knit with black yarn! And I think I will be able to do cross-stitch again. I put the foot operated on/off switch on the arm of my rocking chair and can use my hands to turn or or shut off because my fool dog would hit the switch on the floor.

It is a fine value, exactly what I thought it would be, great for reading and cross stitch work. I’d recommend it to others. It was delivered earlier than first announced and was well-packaged. It’s easy to adjust and I appreciate the step-on floor button.

A dressed-up OttLite

Love this! You get the OttLite brightness in a sturdy, elegant lamp with a solid base.

I am a big fan of Ott Lites and own several. I like the style of the Covington, and the task lighting it provides is the excellent quality I expect. The drawback for me with this lamp is that the switch is on the cord, which I find inconvenient. Other than that, the lamp is great.

An excellent LED lamp for computer work. It is nice and bright and makes everything much easier to see at night. It is well made and easy to put together. The price was good for it and would recommend buying this lamp. It makes a good reading lamp without the heat like from an incandescent bulb. And it provides 800 lumens of nice light.

Cannot be assembled

I liked it so much I bought another exactly the same for my son, but he said it cannot be assembled because the second tube is the same diameter as the bottom one. I hope Walmart can resolve this problem

Basic lamp - no light settings

I was a little bummed this didn’t offer different light settings like my smaller desk lamp from ottlite. It seems solid and offers a slick small slim design. However I may get 2 wellness series desk lamps intstead if keeping this one.

Nice lamp with a couple of flaws.

This is a nice and bright, contemporary looking floor lamp. It does have two problems though. On carpet, it's easy to tip over. The stem/tubing itself also seems a bit thin (maybe this is why it's easy to tip over, I'm not sure). Second, the button to turn the lamp on/off is essentially on the floor. It is on the cord, but it is so close to the floor end that there really is no way to get it high enough to make it easy to turn it on and off at a normal height. (I did know this prior to getting the lamp, but it is still annoying. Who wants a floor lamp that you have to practically crawl on the floor to turn on and off?)

Very stylish lamp that doesn't take up a lot of room. Easy to assemble.

Great Floor Lamp - Very Versatile

I needed a floor lamp to sit next to my chair which is kind of in the center of the living room. This is perfect. It is light weight but very sturdy. Love the foot pedal on/off switch. I hesitated about buying it because I found it on another site at a slightly lower cost but found a couple reviews complaining that it was hard to assemble. Now I am in my mid 70s and have significant problems with hand strength and dexterity, so figured I would need to find someone to assemble it for me - NOT NECESSARY! I had no problems putting the lamp together quickly and I am delighted with it. It is perfect as a reading lamp and I could not be happier. I don't think I will ever again buy anything but an OttLite.
