Lovely colors!

Beautiful, quality rug looks great in my foyer. I wish they made it in a 5x7 or 5x8, but will settle for this 4x6. I bought the greeen version of it as well and they both look nice in my traditional home.

Lovely rug!

Lovely bedroom rug- so happy with this purchase. I used this rug in my sons room- he says it is very soft and it has held up very well. You won't regret this purchase have.

Beautiful and not too thick.

The rug is beautiful the colors just weren't right for my room. The border was a bit lighter and brighter than I thought. The quality is excellent.

This rug brings me joy every single day. I absolutely love it! The colors are rather muted and go beautifully with my furniture and fishtail swag window treatments. The red is more prominent than the green, which is a VERY muted shade of sage. The overall color looks more muted red and beige-ish than red and green. This style rug does not have the stiff backing of something like an oriental-style. Still, it looks luxurious and like something you might find in a sultan's palace.

Different from picture

I've been looking at this rug for months and finally ordered it. It's a beautiful rug; excellent quality. However, the colors are definitely different from the photo. It is not as vibrant; much more muted. And the red is more of a cranberry instead of a rusty-red which was what I was hoping for. I only found one review and it basically said the same thing. I should have paid more attention. I gave it a rating of 3 because of the color discrepancy, not because of quality. I'm keeping it because it's too much of a hassle to return and it does like nice; just was hoping it looked more like the photo.

Not cayenne

I liked the rug. The green is kind of a sage, which is nice. However, the dominant red is more of a raspberry, not cayenne. Disappointed.

The rug is beautiful- a little lighter in color than the photo. I bought another much less expensive rug from Overstock that has a thick, luxurious nap and is very nice. This Oushak has a short, rough nap that is more common in tribal rugs and it gives the impression of being antique. The pattern is clear even though the colors are somewhat muted- the red is not dark but rather a deep rust color, the green, the beige and gold are subdued. I love the rug- it is just what I wanted, but if you are looking for a luxurious feeling rug under foot, this is not it. Although I am using it in my family room, it could easily be the show piece in a more formal living room.

Best price anywhere for an amazing rug

I originally ordered this rug from a furniture store but found it here at Overstock.com. The store had a price match policy, but in this case they would not match it because they said it was less than their actual cost, and so instead canceled the order. I was thrilled to get the same beautiful rug for such a great price. The colors and pattern are lovely and really warm up the room.
