Outsunny 3 x 3.6m Hardtop Gazebo w/ UV Resistant Polycarbonate Roof & Aluminium Frame, Garden Pavilion with Mosquito Netting and Curtains | Aosom UK

A package of four boxes and 96Kg of parts arrived on my doorstep exactly as promised. Whilst the gazebo can be built with one person, it is much easier with two. Take your time, read and understand the instructions and you cannot go wrong. Do not use the supplied ground anchors, they are not man enough for this structure! Amazon do a set of 4 soft ground screw piles for £29.99, use these. The gazebo is well made with quality materials, clearly been designed well and should last many years. We took the extra step of closing the ends of the polycarbonate roof pieces with tape close to the colour of the polycarb. It took two whole days to put up but that included tapeing the panels. I am not in great health which means I take longer than everyone else! The acid test, would I recommend to a friend, yes.

I do like the gazebo. It was a bit tricky to put it together and had to call the company to get a video for installing the last panel. Took a bit of work. Also, the clips are not very tight and can fall out easily. My handyman put some silicone in the areas where the clips are to kep them in place. It gets really windy in Las Vegas, and he didn't want the panels separating and lifting. Once it was done, it's beautiful.

I’m still building it. I am a 33 year old woman, and I was able to complete it by myself so far. You just have to be creative, including tweaking the directions. There is a QR code on the instruction manual, but it will more than likely lead you to an incorrect model. Just type the model number into YouTube and you’ll find the model specific video for your gazebo. I started building the frame upside down, this made the job easier to tackle on my own. The roof is the hardest part, however, I was able to get two panels up alone so far, if I can complete two, then I know that I can complete the others. I used duct tape to hold it in place in areas that needed a second set of hands. Also, do not tighten the roof frame screws all the way, this will help installation. I do plan on getting someone else to assist me. The roof will make you want to use profanity 😄it seems to be sturdy so far. I’m liking it already.

Overall this is a pretty good structure for the price. I assembled the frame by myself in about 4 hours but definitely needed a second pair of hands for the roof panels. We taped the small and large triangles together and fed them in from the bottom keeping the straight side in the track all the way up. One person keeping steady pressure on it while the other wiggled the angled side into place. Worked out pretty well. The last section was more difficult because you can’t reach through an opening to press the panel in. We used gorilla tape and it held so well that you could maneuver the panel from the bottom by pushing/pulling the tape. Also good to hold the adjacent section in place until you are ready to fasten with the trim piece that overlaps. So far we like it and will see how it holds up through 4 seasons. It is much sturdier than I expected.

Hardtop Steel Gazebo w/ Curtains

I purchased this gazebo for the backyard because I will be moving in my first mew home soon. Shipment arrived in 2 different boxes 2 days apart from each other and oh yeah you will have to sign for your gazebo. 1st box arrived on time(the framing) box was a little damaged tore on one side. 2nd box arrived 2 days later (the rooftop) box was not damaged in good condition. Both boxes are big and heavy and the delivery driver had to use a toll dolly to bring boxes to the front door. I reached out to customer service and they informed me their is a 1 year warranty on damaged parts so that was a relief to know as I will not be moving into my home or having the gazebo put together for now. Overall, I am super excited and happy with my purchase and hope all pieces are there and not damaged as some other reviewers have had issues with. I would definitely recommend this gazebo to anyone who needs a backyard get away! Also for the price and quality it was a good deal!

The struggle WAS real

Love the look of this gazebo. Rated a 4 because of the struggle we had with set up. Paper instructions are not great and video made it seem seamless. The roof almost made us take the whole thing down and return it. It was VERY hard. Many of the parts came crooked or off center. Needed muscle to put parts together. Total around 10 hours of set up. We learned that you really need someone under the roof holding it together and someone on the top pushing it in. And when you feel like its in place, keep pushing it in. I hope that this gazebo lasts long term. It looks great overall. The struggle was worth it.

A great gazebo, it arrived very quickly in 4 boxes and was heavy so we knew it was solid.

Great Addition to my patio

This was a great addition to my patio area. It's sturdy and we bolted the legs to the cement. The reason for the 3 stars is who ever designed putting this together did a bad job. The Roof portion comes with the aluminum panels that "Slide" in to place. The instructions say to add the larger panels first, then add the small portions last. This was the biggest pain in the back side. You need a ladder first off, and it took us the most time just putting the last 4 panels in. We almost gave up, and was going to leave the opening at the top with a Tarp to cover it was that much of a pain.

I decided to order this gazebo as I have wasted a lot of money on fabric topped ones that do not last. The gazebo arrived promptly and 2 of us set to the task of putting it together.

a great product with a responsive seller

This is a great addition to our back yard deck. We went through progressively more expensive fabric options every year. Finally this one popped up in our search.I installed it by myself, with help once to flip the frame and legs (mounted it inverted). It took two half days.

When buying this I was really worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough, or that it wouldn't look as good as in the photos on the website but I have to say I was worrying over nothing - it is a very solid structure and looks fantastic in the garden. I would have no issue recommending this gazebo. It provides a really large space to enjoy our unpredictable Scottish summers under!

Just follow the step-by-step instructions and you'll be fine!

My brother & I put it together and it took about 7 hours. I think the instructions & parts labeling were very well done although, as usual, were intimidating at first but the steps and parts made sense as we made our way through the assembling steps. My brother & I are somewhat experienced doing this type of work but as long as you have 2 people & a 6' step ladder it will be a breeze, albeit time-consuming. We put a patio table in the area to keep all the fasteners, tools & small parts handy and that helped a lot. Also, ample extra fasteners were provided...nice! We taped the "loose" hooks to the track during assembly so they didn't fall out as we were adding posts, etc. but in hindsight, those could be added after assembly even though the direction showed adding them before the posts & roof went together. Good luck!

Directions are Chinese style IKEA. Small roofing panels are easy if you follow my instructions.

I'm happy with this aluminum pergola. It's good looking and unlike the rotting wooden pergola I removed from my yard, it's virtually maintenance free. There are some assembly issues, instructions could benefit from clearer images and better descriptions but with some studying you can understand them. Prior reviews talked about the biggest issue with assembly, which would be the roof panels (not sure why they arrived in a separate box a day after the first box was delivered). There are 16 triangular panels in all, 8 large and 8 small. For an easier roofing panel install you definitely need a second set of hands for the large panels. Partially lay the panel on the roof. Have the helper stand on a ladder and feed the large panel, straight side first, up while you stand on another ladder inside the pergola and help guide the panel from below while your helper slowly pushes it into place. Once you secure it by installing the lower cross piece as your helper holds it in place then you can move on to the next large panel. The 8 smaller triangular roof panels were a bit challenging at first until I figured it out. First I recommend you install the smaller panels as you move along. Do not install all the larger panels first, it

Nice but takes time to assemble

This appears to be durable and looks nice on our patio.? Comments on assembly are accurate as it took 2 of us 8 hours to assemble. WE followed the instructions and it went good.? The paper instructions are OK but not excellent.? We used a screw gun on some of the? assembly but it was better using a standard hand screw driver as it is easy to strip out the holes in the aluminum frame.? Everything went together good but the roof panels were difficult for us.? TIP-Leave the screws loose in each section for alignment and then tighten them all.? It came in 2 boxes that were were very sturdy. Overall we like it!

Beautiful

This gazebo adds a nice touch to my yard. I bought it to cover future hot tub as it is the perfect size. This thing is sturdy and does not move when it is windy here. It did take several people to put the gazebo together and it took several hours. The roof was a bit tricky to put together as the pieces did not slide in easy. It was hard to know which side was up so I wish the company had labeled those. We bought the gazebo to cover our hot tub and glad that we did. Now that the hot tub is here, we are loving the privacy that the curtains give us while in the hot tub. The curtains also protect the hot tub lid from the desert heat. The bug net on the gazebo is keeping the bugs off of us while in the hot tub. The curtains are easy too open and close. I just wish there was a way to have the bug net on the outside.

QUALITY: Pros - The frame and roof are sturdy and attractive. Looks very similar to a product I saw at **** *****, but this includes privacy curtains and is about $*** cheaper. As far as I can tell so far, great quality for the price. It's not the cheapest I've found, but it looks like a more expensive product than it is. Cons - Neater stitching on the bug netting would be nice, but they are not bad at all - just a couple messy threads. I guess they have to cut corners somewhere. ASSEMBLY: Directions are clear and fairly easy to follow. Link to video was helpful. Most of this can be done alone, but there are a couple steps where a second person is absolutely essential. PART REPLACEMENT [TIP - Call customer support, do not wait on online parts request]: I did get one defective part that had to be replaced. I put in a "Parts request" on the website, and no one got back to me after 5-6 days. I called the customer support number and talked to a representative. Once I did that, they found and shipped the replacement part within a few days. (I was going to give a 4-star review because of customer support, but I think the sluggish response online may have been due to customer support having to largely work from home due to COVID-19, slowing things down. The product itself is great.)
