I bought this to put on a porch swing stand and it works well (just with extra chain hanging). It's not the comfiest to sit on the metal bars so I would recommend a cushion, but with that it's a great swing.

Love our new swing. It's lighter weight than a wooden swing but at the same time can hold plenty of weight. Overall, it's well made. As others have stated, you will need more chain. I love the clean black lines. Decent enough to sit on but we will be buying cushions. We sprayed ours with an extra clear coat due to one reviewer stating they had rust - we don't want it to leak rust on the porch we are about to stain. Great deal. Happy with this purchase.

perfect for our hunting camp porch...perfect size...love to swing esp. when it rains at camp...no t.v. / no cell phones...just peace and quiet.

Functional and Beautiful
I hung this swing froma large oak tree in my backyard, overlooking the lake. My husband and I love sitting and swinging there each evening! Very easy to assemble and extremely sturdy. We won't have to worry about rotting, which was the case with our previous, wooden swing.
Day 1 exposure to a light drizzle. Not a good material in my book. I expected to see rust in a few months maybe, not on the first mounted day! Not a happy person right now!
