Soft Lightweight coverlet

Double/queen size is very wide, almost bedspread size but I know it will shrink when cleaned. Beautiful subtle green that is just what I wanted. It is longer than my old coverlet so it fully covers the pillows and I don’t need shams. Very pretty. I am pleased.

Beautiful simplicity

I love the basket weave pattern on this piece. It is simple and casual, yet classy and refined. It is generously sized and covers my king size bed beautifully. It has a soft feel and very comfortable.

Fabric looks faded

I was excited to change up a cottage bedroom using the Matelasse coverlet. However, the fabric looks like it’s unevenly dyed or faded in spots. The fold marks are also visible. Not sure now what I’ll do. Perhaps keep it narrowly folded and purchase something else. It is soft enough but I wish it had more even color.

I have been looking for a coverlet that would provide ample coverage on the sides of my bed. Most were not long or wide enough. This coverlet is a perfect fit, is a good weight and made of quality material. I highly recommend it.

Classic

The fabric and print are classic and work well with a masculine bedroom design. The quality is excellent. I wasn’t sure about the cadet blue color but after living with it for a few weeks, it’s perfect.

fabric was thinner than expected..

fabric was thinner than expected.. think after a few washings the fabric would be less a very limp look. a better quality fabric would be appreciated. I knew the fabric was cotton /poly blend. I prefer the 100% cotton from Italy,, have had in the past.

The white shams seemed like

The white shams seemed like a true white, but the "matching" white bedskirt was actually cream colored. If you're hoping for a matching ensemble, you can't guarantee that the pieces will match.

I was hoping this was

I was hoping this was the same or very similar to the coverlet I purchase many many years ago. This particular coverlet has no texture and almost a sateen look. I’m sure it’s fine but it’s not the look I want..

I give 4 stars because

I give 4 stars because it needs a closure in the back. The pillows look sloppy without it. I have a huge safety pin in the back to bring it together. I kept them due to the color abs I couldn’t find anything else.
