Well worth the price!

I have large hands and the mitt still seems awkwardly long. I really like the washability of the outer surface and the thermal insulation is good enough to use with very hot items from the gas grill. Generally pleased, but not “wowed”. I would recommend this to others.

Small and slippery

It was so tight on my forearm that I couldn't even pull it on all the way and the silicone is slippery. I was afraid the casserole dish would slip out if my hand. I used my last set of oven mitts for 10 years. This one I'm looking to replace after one use.

Best Oven Mitt Ever Made

I can’t believe how much I love this oven mitt. Who loves an oven mitt? Well, after years and years of nearly or definitely burning my hands through the various oven mitts I’ve had, I finally found the perfect one. This. It’s perfect. Why? It’s thick. It’s silicone. I can barely feel any heat at all through it, even when pulling extremely hot dishes out of my oven. And if I accidentally get some food on it? A quick run under the faucet and it’s clean. Bonus points for the fact that I can use it for other things like opening jars. It’s grippy. It also helped me open sharp caps on some aluminum water bottles that cut my hands without it. I’m even considering using it to repot some cacti.

Great product

Our previous quick access pot holder did not have a pocket and that made it difficult to hold on to it plus the hot dish but I really like silicone as a heat barrier vs thick cloth. I purchased the OXO pot holder and larger hand shaped mitt. I added a larger ring for hanging and our cabinets are dark so it blends right in. Hard to impress me with an oven mitt but so far I love it and hope it lasts longer than the all fiber versions purchased in the past.

Kinda tight!

I’m 6’7” with big hands. From the pictures in ads and seeing them on ATK, I thought they would be bigger than they actually are. I can still fit in them, but they’re “Kinda tight”

I'm going to buy another one.

I've owned a great deal of oven mitts in my day but this one is by far the best. it fits well and gives me enough dexterity. Next time im at the store, I plan on buying another one.

Not up to OXO’s design standards

The water kettle seems well made. I have two issues with it…the opening at the top is so small that I can’t reach into it in order to clean the interior and the design is such that it is hard to hold and pour when full because of the handle design.

Solid Look and Quality

Good solid oven mitt that is attractive and does its duty. I bought it as a gift for my daughter and she didn't like it because of the silicone feature which personally I think adds to the quality and safety. Plus the dark color will look nicer longer. I like having an actual mitt plus the two pot holders in my kitchen. So, even though my daughter wasn't keen on the mitt, I thought it was the best oven mitt I'd seen. Goes to show it's personal preference.

Great oven mitt. The silicone is less stiff than other brands, making them easier to use. Love the oat color.

Bought 2 for the cook of the house

Purchased as a gift for a gentleman who does most of the cooking in the house. He has large hands and long arms. These were the perfect size and length for him. They are too large for petite hands.

Okay, but…..

I purchased these because they were top rated by America’s Test Kitchen, and other top rated products I have purchased at their suggestion have been excellent. Also OXO is a brand I am familiar with and have other OXO household products that live up to the name. These mitts do the job but are a bit stiff and clumsy for my liking. I guess I’ll get used to them in days ahead just wished they weren’t so awkward to wear.

Oven mitt

Love the xo oven mitt. The only thing I was not happy about was the color. I originally purchased the sky blue. But when I needed more they were out. No biggie but would be a 5 star if I could get what I wanted. I get same model and all but red is not my color.

Future Classic Now

Very sleek looking with the black and tan color block. It can accommodate many kitchen styles modern, transitional, boho, etc. Its an OXO product, so it is expected to perform to a high standard. As this does. I purchased the matching potholder and work well in my country kitchen.

Exactly *ONE* Oven Mitt

I assumed, wrongly, that this was a pair of mitts. I guess not. I went back and looked, and nowhere does it say quantity is 2. Anyway, for this same price you can get a different brand and get a pair. So I am a little disappointed. I have not yet used my one oven mitt, so I can't say how it functions, but I bought it to handle pulling out a dutch oven. Hoping this one mitt is enough to get me by on a 450' piece of cast iron!

Great and stylish, just wish they were a wee bit bigger

It is HARD to find oven mitts that fit larger hands! These ones are okay-ish, but still a little tight on my gargantuan hands. The hang loop is nice; I have these hanging on my cabinet right next to my oven. Nice and heat/spill proof.
