Great Dutch Oven

I love my new Lodge cast iron enameled dutch oven so much. I was ready for a new one and this one is great. Now when I make soups and stews I can fix it all in the same pot. Clean up is so easy as well.

Best Cookware

Very high quality! They cook very evenly and keep the food warm. I will be buying some more sizes and replace all of my pots and pans.

I had been looking for this specific brand at a decent price (especially for the state of Alaska) and was so EXCITED I can find it at Walmart for just under $50! It’s a total steal for this brand and size! Love it and if you can snag one get it asap!

Nice!

Great cast iron pot. Just know that the silver knob to lift the lid is metal too. Our older Iron pot has a plastic knob. Plastic is actually better while cooking.

Love this pot! It heats up quickly and evenly. It’s beautiful and functional. Wish I’d purchased it years ago.

Cooks Evenly, heavy

Cooks evenly and puts a nice sear on meat. Two downsides. It is heavy but, I expected. If you can't lift heavy stuff don't buy it. The lid knob gets just as hot on the stove. This could have been a better design. My Ie Creuset can be picked up without a mitt.

Best purchase Ever

I am in LOVE with my Dutch oven. It makes my sourdough bread rise so high and gives it a beautiful golden crust! It retains heat so well. I was using a roasting pan before and got flat loaves, but this is so much better and a complete game changer. Best $40 I’ve ever spent.

Dutch oven

I’ve been cooking for 40 years and this was my first Dutch oven. I love the ease of cooking in it and how it cooked evenly when frying my meat up to putting all the other ingredients in. I would recommend this to anybody.

AWESOME pan, great value!! I've been wanting to switch over to enameled cast iron for YEARS, and this was a wonderful, reasonably-priced choice!! Have just made one pot of soup so far, which came out WONDERFUL and cleaned up SUPER easily, and I'm already planning MANY future culinary "adventures" with my new Lodge!!! GO for it!!

Perfect for newbie no-kneed bread

Very pleased with my first Dutch oven. I purchased this oven to bake no-kneed bread. I selected this specific Dutch oven because of reviews and price. I didn't feel the need to purchase an overly expensive Dutch oven just to try my hand at no-kneed bread. My first loaf was a success (though I wasn't thrilled with the recipe). It was nicely round and lightly browned and did not stick to the bottom at all! I'm looking forward to trying a different recipe (one less salty).

I love it!

I love this Dutch oven. It’s fantastic quality, and very easy to clean. I use a magic eraser on any tough stains from baking sourdough at a high temp, and they always come off. Highly recommend. I bought a second one because I was so impressed.

The dutch oven was beautiful out of the box. After using it the first time to bake a loaf of artisan bread, it cleaned up beautifully with little effort. I then used it to keep a batch of chicken alfredo sauce warm, which it did well, but I noticed that a few spots of enamel were chipping off. I hadn't used it to bake or warm more than twice, and now there are large pieces of enamel missing. For this reason alone, I wouldn't buy another from this brand.

Lodge is made in the USA and a high quality, reputable company so happy to buy their products. Have been shopping for a Dutch oven for quite a while but prices on enameled cast iron have increased insanely in the last couple years. This was a good value at a price I’m willing to pay. Great performance and looks

I recently purchased a white Lodge Dutch Oven and it arrived in perfect condition and is just beautiful. I own a LeCreuset Dutch Oven and this one by Lodge gives it stiff competition. I have cooked in it and it performed great. I am so pleased with this piece. I will buy more Lodge enamel over iron cookware and highly recommend it to others.
