Purchased 3 for a project to save time. The dresser is solid and well made. Assembly is pretty easy, approx 30 minutes. Drawbacks, the drawers have cheap roller guides that limit travel. I changed to 12" side mount slides to get full extension of the drawers. Over all, nice product

Very solid real wood quality piece of furniture. Bought for the depth of the drawers and the width it fits in my walk in closet perfectly and holds a massive amount of clothes. I would have gave it 5 stars only the dresser drawers didn't line up perfectly with the dresser or sit flush when u close the draw. Looks nice and solid and perfect for what I want it for. But if it wasn't in my closet I would return for the draws to line up better! Not bad but not a $*- dresser that I paid! Only because of the drawers

Kind of mid

It looks nice but assembly was difficult and the drawers are slightly crooked now that it's finished. They also catch when I try to open them so I have to move it around to get it to open. The drawers are much shallower lengthwise than I thought they would be. It's alright but for the price I was expecting something sturdier.

Good quaity wood, problematic assembly

Good quality wood and color is exactly as depicted. I got the honey oak and it is gorgeous. The only reason this did not get five stars is because the assembly is problematic. The manufacturer relies on self tapping screws goes wrong. For example, drawer parts 3 and 6 do not have pre-drilled holes to accept the screws. The sides 16 and 17 are pre-drilled, but as you tighten one side and it taps into the 3 & 6 boards, it draws up and goes crooked. The screw can go sideways easily and barely holds. We are thinking we are going to need to add extra screws or nails if anything heavy gets put in the drawer. I will attach a photo of the drawer at a later date.

Nice chest… looks better than the picture

You need to assemble the chest. I am a 58 year old woman and I put the chest together all by myself. I recommend also using gorilla glue to reinforce the wooden pieces when putting the chest together to prevent wobbling. If you use the gorilla glue, please wait at least 2 hours before connecting both sides of the chest together. The drawers are wide and deep. The chest looks small in the picture but it is large enough for adult clothing and at least 5 ft 2 inches. Because the chest is wood , it will have a wood odor . I keep my drawers cracked to let the drawers air out. My clothes have not absorbed the wood smell and after 2 months, the wood smell is starting to fade. All in all, I think this was a good purchase.

100% solid wood, no chemical smells

This truly is solid wood. The backing contains no cardboard but a hardy plywood. The drawers are not an exception either. This is good quality but simple dresser. It was perfect for my daughter. She's about 5' tall and works wonderfully for her. I get very iffy ordering furniture as my whole fam is chemical sensitive. We never know what we will get. I decided to order this for my daughter as I had purchased the oversized one on Overstock by the same company. This came in and no smell. Whole family is ok with it. It's not rated Greenguard or any of the other green labels. For this price range for solid wood furniture, this is a steal. This dresser will last forever. I imagine this may become a family piece of furniture that keeps getting passed down. I'm not crazy about the knobs but those are easily replaced. I highly recommend and

Great value at a good price

It very solid and stable, perfect color, and good value for price. I (65+ F) was able to assemble by myself with only a screwdriver and hammer. I'm very happy with it as it's perfect for the space and use, though I plan to substitute out the knobs (knew when purchased). Just FYI, I didn't realize - stupidly - that the bottom of the left & right sides would be just straight, and depth of cabinet. It's not noticeable from the front & definitely adds stability. But if positioned where a side view is important could be problematic.

Nice set of drawers

This is a fine set of drawers, especially for the price. The assembly instructions were easy enough to follow. Allow yourself a couple of hours and pay attention to the direction of the pieces on the instructions. Took me a little longer as I didn't have a drill and had to hand screw it all together. It's a heavy box when it arrives, so be prepared for that. The chest itself is pretty sturdy. The drawer bottoms will need some liner as they are a bit rough for any delicate fabric. Opens and closes easily. Far from quiet soft close, but that's not in this price range. Looks great and serves my daily needs. A great price too, especially with a coupon.

I like this dresser but I have one complaint: there is a gap between the drawers. Especially the top drawer and the top of the dresser. The locking bracket is clearly visible. I thought maybe I had assembled it wrong but no, I'm pretty sure it's a design flaw. Shipping was great and the pieces are packaged very well. Just FYI--I purchased the "Java" color and I was hoping that is was a true brown but it has red tones to it. Oh well, still a nice tall dresser.

Excellent quality for an excellent price!

I was looking for a dresser that would be large enough to hold all of my clothes without taking up space in my small bedroom or breaking the bank- and this DELIVERED! I can't believe the high quality (solid wood!) given the price. The dressers are huge and deep, and the option to lock a drawer is a nice touch. The assembly requires an "advanced beginner" skillset (i.e. I didn't even attempt to put it together myself, but my roommate did it with no problem)- if you can assemble **** furniture, you can assemble this. I'm thinking of getting another one- love it so much.

Excellent Piece of Furniture

excellent piece of furniture. I give this a 5 star rating with a few special notes. #1 be patient putting this together. #2 assemble this in the area you are putting it in. (very heavy). #3 I am very mechanical so have someone who is mechanical put this together. #4 lay out all pieces and hardware. #5 Look at instructions carefully and follow step by step. I had no problems and the Dresser is perfect.

Solid Dresser + Few Changes made it Stunning

This solid wood dresser is very well made. Finish if beautiful. I however did not like the lock mechanism on this or the white plain dresser knobs. I replaced the lock with a champagne cork and it now looks stunning! I also picked up new gold dresser knobs at ****. If you do decide to replace yours you need to realize that you need something larger that the hole in the drawer. Please look a a photo I attached as I angled the picture so you could see what I am referring too. We also used a piece of the lock parts to attach the champagne cork and also used a longer screw. I also attached a picture of inside the drawer so you could see what you would need to use. The instructions say to hand screw everything and I did try to do that however I was not strong enough to do that. My son had a battery powered screw driver and he took over and finished this piece. It still took the two of us as I don't see how you could do this yourself. He said that an electric powered screw driver would be too much and it could ruin the piece. I love the changes I made to this as it took it from boring to fabulous. You can't go wrong with purchasing this as it is very well made, solid, and will last many long years.

Two words, REAL WOOD!!! I bought two of these dressers for my bedroom. One dresser comes in two very heavy boxes. The worst part of this project was getting the boxes opened. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. Regardless of that, it still took me about three and a half hours to put the first one together. The second one went mush faster. I am so happy with this purchase.

Solid furniture

This is a solid dresser with a significant amount of storage space. It wasn't difficult to put together, but it was incredibly time consuming to build by myself. The instructions were clear, and I received all the parts and hardware. I would recommend this dresser to others. It is very sturdy, has huge drawers and looks really nice as a finished piece. I suggest adding wood glue and working with another person to build.

Nice big chest of drawers

A very sturdy solid wood chest of drawers with lots of room. Only negative, besides the odor from wood processing chemicals which should dissipate in a week or so, is the thin plywood bottoms to the drawers. Very thin and 2 of the 5 bottoms were seriously warped. I had to place heavy objects on them for a few days and they were still very warped. Made assembling the drawers with those bottoms difficult. As suggested by a different reviewer, I applied wood glue to all 5 of the pieces needed for a drawer before I screwed them together. after drying for a day, I can see how that was a great idea, making the drawers much stronger and rigid..

These Are 100% wood and not that pressed board ****. I did have to put things together but that gave me the power of the build quality which I like. All hardware and information to do the job was accurate and clean complete. All items were painted completely and had a good finish, I preferred the white to go into our new closet remodel and everything looked great. You won't be disappointed with the packaging either. The outside box los Omer rough due to shipping but as I unpacked everything i learned it was actually double boxed with foam inserts to take care of the edges. 5 Stars all the way!

NOT an easy item to assemble

I ordered two of these and found them difficult to assemble. Many of the wooden pieces that are the bottom of the drawers are warped and I had to soak them and weight them to make them usable. I have one that just will not flatten out and it in under my chair as I type being weighted down by my 235lb self. Had I known this was going to happen I would not have ordered them The product was very difficult to unpack so even if I did want to return I could not. One assembled the dresser drawers do not open and close well. Luckily these items were for inside my closet to add some storage so no one will see them. Hopefully I will be able to assemble that last drawer. NO I would not recommend this product to anyone but you know "you get what you pay for" Oh and I have blisters from skrewing the HUNDREDS of skrews needed to assemble this item. And that is NOT an exaggeration. It took me all day one saturday to assemble on and then I did the other ( except that last drawer) the next saturday. But at least it was not made in ****.

Good quality. not great instructions, use a drill!

Pros: Honestly great quality (so far anyway). Sturdy and is real wood. I would buy again. Cons. Drawers a little on the shallow side but those were the specifications. Came with some chipping to the paint but not enough to be a big problem and intend to fix up with my own paint. Lost a star for ease of putting together. I put it together on my own, it does recommend 2 people but they always do. Took a long time. Biggest issue was the drawers and the back panel. Drawer slides need to be screwed into the drawers and there is no pre-drilled hole to screw in easily so you have to screw through solid wood. If I had a drill it would have been fine but had only a screwdriver so took a long time. Would recommend using a drill to put together if possible. Also, hard to line up the back panel with the dresser to nail in - took a few attempts where nail actually made contact with the dresser, which isn't ideal. Instructions re back panel were also not very helpful - just pictures, no words. Overall though, would buy again.

Solid Wood - Straightforward Assembly

What a nice surprise to open a flat box piece of furniture and actually smell wood! The shipping box was three ply, strong protection for this unit. Each piece was easily identifiable for assembly. It is essentially a box of boxes however the connectors, dowels, reinforced with pocket hole screws allowed for a strong connection. We put a spot of wood glue with the dowels for extra strength and that is how I was taught. If you do, have a moist rag handy for drips. There were a couple small nits - The screws to attach the drawer glides were mislabeled - both #42 but it was obvious because of the size. The other was the spacing between drawers. When we put the drawers in we had to swap them as it appears there is a top drawer which then allows for even spacing between the subsequent drawers; I did not see that specific in the picture only instructions. Very happy with this purchase especially as it is difficult to find solid wood pieces.
