Absolutely functional, but it almost looks comically small.

I love how light and compact this is -- so many ottomans these days are just massive. It was also what I was looking for stylistically. The distressed leather matches my distressed leather sofa as well as one could hope for. The only thing I would change is that there are too many seams for an ottoman this size. There are vertical seams on the base and cushion on all four sides. But it's super useful and looks good.

I do like the ottoman overall, however, upon receipt it appears the leather was starved for conditioning. The little "wipe" that came with the ottoman was not nearly adequate. I would recommend not bothering sending this nonsensical "wipe" or send something more up to the task.

Im very pleased with this piece. The smaller frame allows it to be moved around the room easily and the distressed leather matches my brown leather loveseat perfectly.
