Disappointed

Took over 4 hrs to build! Had to re-drill holes, support for shelves were not correct, shelves would collapse. Gaps in 2 of the corners. Packaging was great. If I didn't have 2 other dove gray shelves I would return the the unit! I do like the concept

Adventurous Assembly

This unit REALLY does take 2 individuals to assemble. I am very handy in putting things together, but this really challenged me! The only Negative that I can say came from the experience, was the instructions are just illustrations of how to assemble the unit, which aren't the clearest. Make sure to follow every step, trying to free-hand assmeble won't work, you REALLY have to follow the pictures.

Challenges to assembly.

Time consuming to assemble. Several holes for the cams were not properly drilled, and since I do not own a drill, we had to chisel the whole to the correct depth so the cam would work properly, several of the holes were offset, leaving one side of the unit with an obvious off white stripe instead of the dark brown/black color of the until. This will have to be painted at some point. Directions really should indicate which direction of the section is the front for assembly purposes. Other than the two plus hours to assemble, it's a very pretty unit and fits my space perfectly.

I was nervous to put it together with the previous reviews but it was not too hard. It took me about 1.5 hours by myself. The quality is pretty cheap but it does what is required and it does look nice, I just would not want to move it around alot if ever. I did have a few steps where the pieces did not really fit right but it was mostly hidden once together. The fireplace flames are what you would expect and the heat element is amazing! For the $200 pricetag it was a worthwhile purchase.

Buyers be ware!!!! Horrible waste of time!

3hrs of my time for the piece at the end not to line up. Now have to spend more time taking it apart and returning it. Will not buy another piece of furniture from here again. Wood started spliting as I put it together and the instructions were not as simple which is why it took so long! Highly frustrated!!!!

Amazing.

It was pretty difficult to assemble so make sure you have someone to help you. But I love it so much, the fireplace has a built-in heater that heats up my living room in minutes! Literally. It makes my home look so cozy! I love it and definitely recommend this buy!

Nice feature for my shorehouse

We ordered this TV stand/Fireplace for our shore house. It came very quickly and was packaged beautifully. It was somewhat hard to put together, all pieces didn't line up and the screws/widgets were very cheaply made. Actually we had five pieces break and they do not give you extra. Upon finishing putting it together (3 1/2 Hours) it actually looked very nice and I was pleased with the end product. I would recommend this to anyone. The fireplace was an additional enjoyment.

Be wary while assembling!

As others stated, the instructions are not great. Be very careful and watch as you assemble that the orientation is correct. I thought I finished only to realize the fireplace was going to actually face the rear of the tv . After talking apart the bottom to flip it thinking that would fix (while breaking parts of stand(cheaply made!!!) I realized that the ugly cam locks were noticeable the front. Now trying to fix yet again without breaking more of this particle board like crap!

I purchased this unit in black. Putting it together did take a little time and would be better with two people. That being said, actual unit is very nice. I gave it 4 stars because bottom shelf had a small crack near front leg. There were no other problems at all. The fireplace is very pretty and it puts out a lot of heat quickly. The whole family enjoys the look of the fireplace.

Love love love

I had previously had a $20 no tools tv stand, very simple & cheap. I just moved to a much nicer place & was looking to update some furniture. Assembling was very difficult, at one point the screws wouldn't go in all the way with a screwdriver, I needed to use a drill even though instructions say not to use power tools. But I do have to say it's very nice, I get compliments all the time!! Kinda wish I had bought one where the sides & back wasn't open but this is still 100x better than the other stand I had. I only use the fireplace for the visual, not the heat since I have gas central heat & I think using this electric one would cost me more money so I can't say how good or bad the heat is but just having the look of the fireplace is very calming. I've already gotten a friend to buy one too!

Great product, even better price.

This did take some time and effort to put together, but don’t let that deter you. It’s really nice when assembled, looks expensive and the fire/heat element is great. You have the option to turn on the fire and heat separately, so you can have fire with or without heat. Assembly isn’t difficult, just time-consuming. Took me about an hour and a half (by myself). Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Definitely worth it and for a great price. Really happy with the finished product.

Better than expected

The item is exactly as pictured and described. Assembly wasn't too hard and the unit works well. The heat--which is unadjustable is adequate. The piece is attractive, aesthetically pleasing and surprisingly well made. Definitely worth the price.

A perfect entertainment center

This entertainment stand is wonderful. It's just right for my tv. The electric fire place is awesome, there is ample space, and the color fits very well. The only issue I had, was with assembly. It was a bit tricky, and some of the pieces are rather cheap for the price paid.

Pieces were damaged and instruction manual suck!!!

when I received the material to assemble the tv stand several of the cam bolts were flawed and unusable I went to website to request new parts and the application to receive new parts required codes and order numbers that I never even received!!! To add to that the instruction manual was soo vague it literally had drawings of the parts at weird angles with no written description as to how the piece should be attached from point A to point B so I literally had to guess how it was assemble using the horrible reference pictures. All in all I expected more for my money and don't think I would order from them again
