Just what I wanted

These chairs are perfect. I wanted them for a seating area in my living room. They do smell like fresh straw. But great price and they seem to be sturdy.

For looks only, not comfort.

These are the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in and yet they are so adorable with a black table. I returned them because even with a chair pad on the bottom, it was hard on the back. These chairs should only be used in a model home for looks only.

Looks Great in Coastal Kitchen

I bought these chairs for my coastal kitchen. Compared to other hyacinth chairs, this one has a richer and medium to darker tone, which I love. I also needed black legs to match my black chandelier and other decor. The chairs are comfortable enough to sit in for a few hours.

First, these are attractive textural chairs that are a statement. They look nice around my rustic square table. I love the look. While some of my boxes were dented in and ripped, the chairs were unhurt. The negatives: You must get cushions (16 by 17... but I just bought 17" square ones using my Club O Bonus money, so it did not cost me too much additionally) as they snagged my legging pants immediately. Some people say they are too shiny. Not for me...what I found it that the spray lacquer was unevenly distributed. Some areas ok, some not shiny at all. Being a crafter, I will just take them outdoors on a nice day and finish the job myself, making them all consistent. This is not a big deal for me, but might be for you. I will be interested to see what future guests say. The last negative-when you tap on the seat, it sounds hollow and drum like. Not an indicator of quality. The cushions will solve that to some degree. They are handmade, which is nice. For the cost, I would buy them again and I am picky.

Too shiny. Soaked in lacquer.

I don't really like finish on chairs. They look like they were soaked in lacquer or a glue to hold the woven material together. Very shiny. Not good. I have 4 others from another retailer Same but not shiny. This was what I was expecting. Also color darker. Not as nuetral. I bought 8. Too many to return.

Do not recommend

Poor quality. Both chairs had cracks in the material. Extremely uncomfortable to sit on.

Well made

I love the look of these chairs, but they aren't very comfortable. I will have to find some cushions for them. They are solid and well made. They come 2 in a big box and are already put together.

Chairs no assembly necessary

The StyleCraft chairs are absolutely beautiful, even more than expected. The chairs come already assembled which is great. The chairs are very hard, not comfortable at all, but with nice cushions i'm sure that won't be an issue. I wish it came with care instructions, but nothing was included. Description states they come with dust covers, they weren't received.

Cute and Sturdy!

I have a good mix of brown and black in my farmhouse-like decor. I had been searching for a chair that would blend in well. These are perfect. I have 3 hound kids, and so far they have been very sturdy. I'm constantly getting compliments on them. I can imagine that sitting on them for a very very long time might not be the most comfortable, but I've sat on them for a couple of hours and been fine.

Good quality and looks nice

The chair is a bit hard to sit on without cushions. It looks great and will be a nice compliment to my new dining table. Quality is good and was did not require any assembly.

Finally got my chairs and could not be more pleased. They are better then pictured , well made and sturdy. Could not be happier!

This product is just as described. The colors look like what is shown online and the quality, so far, seems to be good. I would order this item again if needed.
