Loved the quality and workmanship. Stars are embroidered on the flag and the material is heavier than most which gives it a richer look. The flag was given as a gift. I was told that this flag has already lasted longer then the flags that were previously purchased. It has already withstood snow, ice, and wind storms without getting tattered.

Post-purchase Update: These flags are_significantly_better than the single-ply models we purchased last time. They survived a major rainstorm without bleeding— Hope they don't fadeHard to give any stars before the item has even arrived, which explains why so many reviews appear bogus. Description says it is best for outside 24/7/365. Hopefully the colors will not fade in 6 months like the last ones (nylon?) we ordered or bleed red into white like some earlier reviews of this particular flag.

I actually bought this flag for my neighbor's flagpole. They are both deceased now, but Pat always flew the American Flag, and the one that was there was there had been up for a couple of years and was torn. I know he would approve of this flag and the construction of it. The fact that it was made in the USA would be the topper in the deal!

The purchase was smooth and it was delivered quickly. Our weather had destroyed our previous flag and my wife always wanted a wally forge flag.

Great for extreme sun and wind

Last July I purchased 2 Valley Forge Koralex II flags rated for extreme weather. I put the first one up right away and the other was awaiting its turn to fly. I’m was hoping it would last 1 year, and it did! I live in the central Oregon high desert with extreme sun and wind conditions and the flag flew 24/7 for a year. I just retired the first flag. It is faded but very much intact with only a few threads coming loose. It was an investment, but it was worth it. Today I put up the flag-in-waiting, and I’ve already ordered another flag, so as to always have one readily available. I highly recommend this flag for extreme conditions.

Size of Flag

Hello, my name is Jay, I ordered the flag for my elderly father, Kenny. He wanted the biggest flag he can get that will fly. Based on size and material, he was skeptical that it would fly. However we discovered that it seems to fly at 10 mph or higher. He is really proud of the flag and want me to get him a bigger one. What do you recommend? What do you recommend to stabilze the larger flags…weights? Beads? Grommets?

Very Pleased

I have literally bought, every 5ftx8ft American flag they have. I bought 2 of these flags. The first one lasted more than 6 months. We have had severe winds and harsh weather and after 3 months the 2nd flag is still in great shape. The other brand's we bought never made it through 2 months.

Heavy, durable flag

I've only had this flag for a couple months. I probably go through at least a flag a year due to the high winds coming off the bay and river. All of the others, even the ones rated for high winds start fraying even though they are triple or quadruple stitched. And once they start fraying, they deteriorate quickly. This flag is heavy and takes a decent amount of wind for it to wave. I fly a nylon Marine Corps flag as well, and while that may be waving, the US flag might be hanging until there's enough wind. Next purchase, I'll try and get the material weights to match...makes for a more inspiring sight. But the flag is sturdy. Can't give it five stars until I see whether it stands up to the winds.

The best there is.

This is the third flag of this kind I use because it is so durable in the extreme weather in Arizona from 100+ degrees for long periods of time. The colors stay true for almost a year. I'm so proud to fly this flag.

Appears to be a quality flag. Just giving it time for hot sun and wind as to holding up. Flies well, and looks good.

1st time buyer. I am very fussy about my American Flags. Will only buy ones made in USA. So far good. Good quality flies well. Not as bright as nylon.

The flag is very sturdy and made from a heavy fabric. The stitching seems to be strong and we feel it will hold up beautifully in our Albuquerque, New Mexico winds. We've had two other flags since moving to NM 14 years ago and they did not hold up well. We're very pleased with this product and are eager to display our flag on Memorial Day Weekend.

Very disappointed

This flag is sewn great but the red runs into the white creating pink stripes. I believe our flag should be red, WHITE and blue not red, PINK and blue. Hoping to return these flags. Was hoping we had finally found a good product. Very disappointed.

Disappointment

Having purchased other flags previously, I was impressed with the quality. Unfortunately, this new order was very disappointing. The first rain storm resulted in the white stripes turning pink.

Great Flag at a Fair Price

Just what I wanted! I have flown a U.S. Flag outside my home for decades, so I know how they should look and how long they should last. I recently replaced my fading U.S. flag with a 4' X 6' Valley Forge Polyester Flag. It was great to see it proudly waving in the breeze with its vivid colors against a clear blue sky! We have had a serious rainstorm, too, with no bleeding or discoloration. Old Glory flies daily over my Gadsden, "Don't Tread On Me" flag. High quality flag that should last a while. This is not a cheap flag, but you get what you pay for. ERSJR

Not sure if I can leave flag up during rain

I received the flag and was very happy with the 5x8 koralex , this is my 2nd. The red stripes are so bold and brilliant that as soon as I raised it on my 25' pole Its was very obvious that the original had worn out

Great flag

I have purchased this flag for years. Best bang for the buck, High quality and holds up great. Most of the time the flag get worn ends about the same time the color is badly faded but even those take a long time. Mine is normally replaced about every 9-12 months. I can live with that. Mine flies 24/7 rain or shine, snow, ice of hot sun. Takes a beating and keeps on flying.
