Good for dwarf hamsters

This is more suited for a dwarf hamster, small gerbil or mouse for sure. Not for a heavy chewer because it’s wood. My hamster already began to chew apart the front where the door opens. I like it but it wasn’t for us. Again it’s perfect for a small critter and not a heavy chewer. It also was very difficult to put together.

Wooden cage for Rodent?

How are you going to make a wood cage for rodents? Anyone who has a mouse rat gerbil hamster will be happy with the way it looks but in two to 4 weeks will no longer have a pet in the enclosure! Every single one of these is made of wood and what do rodents chew? I’ve had this and it lasted 3 weeks the seller said buy apple wood or hay for them to chew on… umm hello the cage had that from day 1. Please do not buy a wood cage for a rodent it’s common sense people! They look great but they will escape. Get all metal or acrylic with no edges they can chew on. These reviews have to be fake or they have just put the pet in. Wait a month and give a review for a wood cage with a rodent people common sense!

Not great quality, not the easiest to build either - does the job for now though

This was really easy to put together, I brought two and put them right next to each other and drilled a whole so the hamster could go between both and this created a large inclosure

I a miss a peace of the hamster is this piece

Only downside to this is the instructions are terrible only shows flat sides not with the actual bits showing. Otherwise my wee guy loves his new home better than his plastic one lots of space for him to roam

if i could give this product negative ratings i would, everything is unaligned, nothing fits or screws in properly, the front handle wont screw in all the way and the instructions are horrible and alittle confusing. im not the greatest builder but even i understand that this was very poorly designed and made, putting it together is the most frustrating thing in the world and its not even worth all the stress, definitely not worth the money.

Not suitable for Hamsters

I bought this a few weeks ago. The design makes it so that sawdust is constantly escaping from the bottom of it. Also, hamsters like to hang from bars and use the top of their cages like monkey bars - my hamster does this and falls constantly the full height of the cage, often hitting several platforms on the way down! Complete waste of money for me and im stuck with a cage that is useful for nothing
