This rug is perfect for my basement office. Its not "soft" but more like rubber. We have had real oriental rugs in the past and with animals and kids they get gross and dingy. This is rubber?? Looks very durable and easy to stick in the washing machine or hose down. My kitty has even "made biscuits" on it and it looks the exact same. You can't beat the price. The colors are really nice also!
This area rug is the best part of my living room. Vibrant colors and nice material. When I received the package i was at first disappointed - expecting it to be super thin/cheap/ not to size based off of how small they folded it up to ship it. I was wrong! Durable material, beautiful print that looks exactly as advertised and any creases made from shipment fell out on their own within a few days. This was the cutest and most unique rug i found online and in stores (not to mention one of the least expensive) and i am thrilled with it still after having it for months. Easy to clean because its not a fuzzy rug- i vacuum it but have also taken a broom and swept over it to clean up sand.
I bought 5 of these rugs. I have a thunder scared pup and we're having an unusually heavy late spring. I wanted to try out the washable rugs in case she has an accident. I'm surprised as thin as these are, when she wet the rug, it did not bleed though and soak the floor underneath. Super easy to pop in the washer and it retained it's color. The are super thin so not much softness to walk on but I honestly don't stand on them much so it doesn't bother me. I may get a pad for the one in the kitchen. The color is just as pictured and they're lovely. Color and ease of washing were my priorities and these hit the mark. The creases from being folded went away in a couple days. I'm also pleasantly surprised by how well they grip. These barely move at all and I won't need to purchase anything to keep them in place. They really are non-slip. People and dog approved!
Beautiful rug. I ordered 2 of them. They stick well without needing sticky pads or anything which is really nice. Sadly, I ordered 2 of the same size but got 2 different sizes. It worked out fine and I like them enough that I found a place for the other one of the different size. I washed one of them once (I haven't washed the other one yet) and now I can't tell if it was always more faded compared to the other one or if in 1 wash it faded a lot. I will update once I wash the other one. Pattern covers any stains, blemish, or crumbs well. I'm just not sure how well it washed. I'm sad they don't have the brown/multi in a larger size so I can match it under my couch. If they add it, it'll redeem the different size mishap.
I purchased the 2x3 brick red/dull teal version in Jan 2024. At that time the color is an absolutely amazing match to the deep red color of dirt we have at home. If you live anywhere with the same situation know that it will work out great to hide the red/orange dirt and washes amazingly well. I’d give this 10 stars if I could. This is exactly what I was needing and I highly recommend it. It’s not soft underfoot per say however my dogs really haven’t complained.
I really like the look and feel of the 5x7 rug. However if you are looking for an exact 5x7 measurement, this isn't it. The rug is 5ft x 6ft 9 inches. The rug is sitting under my small kitchen table, so exact size isn't an issue for me, but it might be for someone using it in a livingroom or bedroom. I love the colors, they are light and helps brighten up the area. I also purchased the 2x6 runner, (which is an exact size) and the 2. 6x8 runner. The 8ft runner is off by a few inches also, but again, I didn't need it to be exactly 8ft. The edging seems to be well made and there is a non-slip backing on them. I opted to use a non skid rug pad under the rugs, as an extra precaution.
I loved the first one I got so much I bought a second one! The colors are absolutely gorgeous and it isn't cheap looking at all! They're a thin, soft chenille material just like the ruggable rugs with the exception that you don't have to peel them off a Velcro base -- the under side is already grippy! You can pop them in the washer and dryer with no problem. And these actually lay completely flat, unlike my ruggables that have to have the edges steamed because they curl up. brbrPhoto of the rug next to one of my ruggables for comparison.
This rug arrived today and I immediately placed it in my kitchen. We have a dog who has high anxiety with crossing floors that can be slick. This helps him ease through from one area to the next without panic. This rug is thin which I find to be a good thing as I am less likely to trip over it. It stays in place and doesn't slide around, and the pattern is quite nice. It doesn't hold on to dirt like thicker rugs do, so when you pick it up, the dirt does fall all over the floor. I found this out after my son walked across it in his boots. I should have folded it over but being I had just placed it down earlier, I didn't think that would happen. It is easy to vacuum with a small handheld/floor vacuum. A larger vacuum would be difficult to use since its suction would hang on to the rug. This rug would be great for an entry way, hallway, small room or used like I do as a runner from one area to the next.
Got this for our entry area, and it's perfect! Colors are an exact match to the photos, blending very nicely with the darker wood colors of our historic home. It came folded in a box, and unfolding it was very simple. Any small creases from the folding self-flattened within a week. I love that it's got a backing on it so I don't have to worry about wet shoes sitting on it, and yet it's thin enough that the robot vacuum can get on and off it with ease. Haven't washed it yet, but apparently it's washable too!
These are comparable to my much more expensive ruggables! At least for the brown color I purchased, the upper material feels a lot like my other rugs. It is non-slip ony vinyl floor, but it bunches up a bit unless you purchase a rug pad or use rug tape. Very easy to wash. I use mine in the kitchen between the stove and sink, so I like to wash it frequently. The colors are rich and haven't washed out any.
We are renting a house where they took up all the carpets and painted the concrete slab underneath, but they didn't seal it; so, over the five years we've been here, it's gotten badly scratched up. I'm actually glad we have this floor and not carpet, because we've got three little boy dogs and two of them have recently been in major territorial pissing contests. But the floor makes the place look so ugly, even when clean. brbrWhen we tried putting down regular area rugs, they were soon ruined by the dogs and we had to throw them out. One rug we got, my partner's office chair (under the window out of view in the photo) wouldn't role over it, so that had to go. We thought about getting a large linoleum mat that would cover most of the room, but that would be expensive. If it was our house, maybe. . . but it's not. brbrThis rug turned out to be just what I needed: something to make things look and feel a little better without involving a lot of money. Because it's a Persian-style rug, the run-down look of the floor isn't quite as bad because we can pretend we're sittting in some Moorish abode. The rug looks just like in the photo online. It's thin enough that Robert's chair won't get stuck if he happens to role back that far, it doesn't slip if the floor underneath it is clean, and if the dogs DO do a number on it, it can be machine-washed easily and dried quickly hung over the garden fence. brbrWe still don't live in a palace, but it's a lot better now than it was. The few creases are quickly falling out after I spritzed it on top with a spray bottle to which I'd added a little orange oil (which, hopefully, will keep the dogs from trying to mark it). After we live with this for a while, I may get matching ones in a larger size. If the color holds up reasonably well in the washing machine, I'll be very happy.
This rug is definitely "Ultra-Thin", it is best to pick it up and take it outside to shake-off. Vacuuming is not an option unless you have a table or chair legs holding it down. If you don't have something holding it down you will have to get a rug gripping pad, it moves every time you walk on it, the "Skid resistant TPR backing" on mine seems to be nonexistent. brbrI was expecting a deeper color. I knew it was faded and worn looking but I was expecting a deep red brick color. The red is much lighter than what is pictured. brbrI was planning to purchase the larger rug for my kitchen if I liked the 3x5 but I won't be doing that now the color is just not what I was looking for and it is too pricey for what you're getting.
Nice rug! I feel the shades in it look a bit lighter in color than in the advertised photos, but that's fine! I realize sometimes shades may vary slightly from the advertised photos due to lighting, etc. I have no complaints with it & it looks nice in my bedroom! I would say not to wash it in a top-loading washing machine with an agitator in it though (obviously). . . it would be safest/easiest in a front-loading washing machine (like it shows in one of the advertised photos. ) I have other thin rugs like this & I vacuum them just fine & never wash them. You just have to be careful how you vacuum them is all. :)
I use this inside the back door in my kitchen. My floor is tile. This rug does not slide around at all, which I love. It's not too thick so the door clears it easily. My only slight disappointment is that I don't feel like it looks all that much like the product page pictures. They 'design' is blurry, for lack of a better word. The colors were pretty accurately captured, but the design is not as sharp. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it because of the grip, the colors, and the thickness, but with the caveat that it looks different than what I expected from the pictures.
This carpet came exactly as shown in the photo! I havent year washed it so fingers crossed. I actually bought the runner and a shorter runner along with a totally different brand and style carpet. I really wish I just stuck with buying this brand because the other carpet is falling apart already. If you are going between options and this one is in your choices vs a thick carpet. . . go with this one! This is super duper thin and it sits well in the floor. It doesn't move around like you would think! I need carpet throughout my home for my 14 year old lab baby. I'll be getting more of these at some point. Got to save the money! Next is the 7*10!
These are pretty. The teal is a little more muted, I expected more pop of color. The rugs themselves are less than 1/4" thick. So thinner than I thought they'd be. We have had them since about Thanksgiving and I really like them. They lay flat and my edges have NOT curled at all!! They dont slide all over either, they will move a little but thay have a little but of grip to the underside. And they are. easy to clean and were inexpensive. My vacuum is tough on the corners and so far, they still look brand new!! They are used as feet wipe area by back door to protect our new floor. . so they get traffic and get dirty. Would buy this brand again. My father deals in antique rugs. So we have many valuable handmade and hand knotted quality rugs, but these are easy and pretty. And so far, they are durable, too. .
If you understand what this rug is, and isn't, and it is what you are looking for, you will be satisfied. It is not a plush, thick carpet type rug. Calling it a rug is possibly even insulting to rugs. It is more like a blanket/mat with a nonskid backing.
I expected a vintage rug - instead it is a picture of a vintage rug on some fabric. It is cheap IF it was a woven rug but this is not what it is so it is expensive. I feel very misledbrbrtwo weeks later - ok all the lines are out of the product - (it has a rubber backing). I have gotten to where i love this carpet. It looks like it is real so much more now than when i bought it. It has really grown on me. For what i was paying i should have looked at the finer print. I am very pleased with this purchase it is not for a show house but it is good/great in my personal space and i like it a lot. it is also going to hold up a lot better than a higher dollar carpet -
I bought one of these rugs as a test. They ARE thin. These are not plush type rugs. What I needed it for was to dress up our LVP floors, give a little visual interest to what would have been a sea of dark brown, AND give the dogs something to get a little traction on when running around the house. These work GREAT on ALL those fronts. brbrBecause they are thin, they ARE easy to clean. The unfold quickly - I actually ran the next ones I got through the dryer on low heat to get out the creases. Even without that they still flatten out in a few days. AFA stain resistance, haven't had any issues. ALSO with the multi-colored design, they hide almost ANYTHING spilled on them for me thus far. brbrSoftness - these are NOT plush. They're not concrete, but they are thin. Softer than my LVP, but if you're looking for something that feels good on your feet, these are NOT the ones. They WILL give you some traction though and the rubber type backing DOES hold them in place pretty well.
Unlike the more expensive brand, this rug is 1-piece. The back of the rug is anti-slip and stays in place even with an 85 lb Rottweiler jumping around. We are using this in our RV and LOVE the fact that you can just throw it in the washing machine. Just washed it for the first time on cold - air dry. Came out really well, and feels soft on your feet. It is a thin rug, however, with bare feet gives enough protection against a cold floor. Ordered a runner for the kitchen area. Great buy for a fraction of the price of the famous brand.
