The 10Cup is TOO TALL to fill it in my sink, too tall to put on the counter, blocks cupboard doors.

I have not used it much yet because quite frankly, it is not easy to use. I have to run water into a separate container then poor it into the pitcher because I have a normal (not goose neck) faucet. The pitcher is so tall that when we want to open a cupboard that hangs over the counter, the door hits it. I honestly never dreamed I would need to check the pitcher height measurement before buying. I wish I had gotten the 7Cup one. I can't remember if that one also worked to remove Lead though, which is why we got it. I suspect it wont fit well in the refrigerator either. I am quite bummed. .

Had this for 2 years, now algae growing in impossible to clean spot

I want to start by saying I have absolutely loved this water filter pitcher system. I've had this for around 2 years at this point and it has been great. When I bought it, I was pregnant and couldn't stand the flavor of our tap water. That being said, the design of this specific pitcher has a flaw. There is a tiny seam/crease in the bottom of the pitcher on the inside. This wasn't an issue until recently, I saw a tiny bit of green growing around the inside. I clean the pitcher frequently, so this has happened only one other time and it easily cleaned up since it wasn't in that seam. However, this time, it is inside the crease and I cannot clean it, using a tiny water bottle straw brush or toothbrush--basically the bristles won't reach. This would be fine except that since the algae was growing in there, water clearly gets into that spot and algae is toxic when in water pitchers. I'm nervous to use the pitcher now because I'm not trying to drink toxic water! That was the entire point of buying the pitcher. If someone from LifeStraw has suggestions for how to fix this issue, that would be helpful.

Very satisfied, but...

I bought the LifeStraw 7-cup pitcher about a year ago. I really like how it filters my over-chlorinated tap water. The pitcher started to leak at the bottom, so I ordered a replacement as well as the silicone ring for the bottom so that the new one would not crack like the original. My only complaint is that LifeStraw does not sell the silicone ring in seafoam blue. When I ordered the original from Amazon, I ordered the seafoam ring, but when I got it, it was for the 10-cup. I returned it. I realized that seafoam was only available in the larger size. I didn't order another one, because I wanted the ring to match. If I had, I probably would not have needed a new pitcher. I bought a white ring for the bottom. It's not terrible, but I would have preferred seafoam.

2 10-cup Pitchers with Cracks!

We have 2 10-cup pitchers in the original plastic material that have developed multiple vertical cracks on the base of the unit My son brought his back from college and we promptly ordered the plastic replacement thinking it was due to rough usage. However, when I took a close look at the one we use at home, I noticed the same vertical cracks at the base. The home pitcher is actively leaking water onto the towel we usually place the pitcher on. The towel was originally placed to add stability. The home pitcher never had been slammed or bumped. Not quite sure how these cracks have developed. This is very upsetting as we had gone through 2 home stations that leaked at the sprout opening. The 10-cup pitcher was the alternative to the home station. Now they are leaking as well.

Pitcher Looks Nice But Impractical Design; Filtration Excellent

Received this as a gift and was very excited for it. Filtration is very slow so don't expect to get a cup of water immediately. This model is too tall for my sink and as a renter, I don't have a hose on my sink to fill it up. It is also too tall for my fridge with the exception of one area in the door. Adding water into the filtration tank is more difficult than it needs to be - the hole is small and it's difficult to see the inside if it's full or not. Have overfilled/spilled several times. The parts are difficult to take apart for cleaning purposes and reassembly while also being not very sturdy (made of plastic and mine broke upon opening). Pouring from the pitcher is okay as long as there is not a lot of water in it. Mine dribbles slightly but might be due to the the broken piece. There is definitely a difference in the taste/quality of water compared to my old Brita filter.
