Quick and easy.

Fantastic “tiles”. They look great and are easy to put up. But definitely tape with a masking tape when you caulk much easier to a keep nice clean line. I do feel they are a bit expensive for just 4 “tiles” that’s really the only negative.

So hard to cut and line up properly. Perhaps it's the shape that is hard to work with but I really wanted these for my bathroom backsplash and was so disappointed with how difficult it was to put them up that I opted to just get real tile instead. These were supposed to be my bathroom remodel budget savers but they simply didnt work out for me. They are thinner than expected but do look pretty realistic for tile. The color is awesome, like a matte black-blue. Perfect for a modern, moody, or mid century bathroom (which was our vibe) but it was just too hard to use, even for us being more experienced with remodeling and DIYing.

Stunning backsplash upgrade

Love the hexa tiles in grey/white. Used them on my kitchen walls to create a backsplash and they are perfect. They brighten up the space and make it look finished plus they are easy to clean

Too expensive, edges lifting

Looks really nice and the quality feels decent but doesnt fully stick i found the edges lifting within a day in areas even though i followed all directions. I also find it really expensive for the little amount you get. I wouldn't purchase again.

Hexagon Tile Fireplace Surround

I am very impressed with the quality of Smart Tiles. They are substantial, not flimsy, and have lovely depth and texture. I did make the mistake of not ordering samples prior to purchase and had to return my initial order because the colour was different from what I saw on the site. I recommend getting samples to save the headache. Having said that, the return process and customer service was fantastic. They seem to stick well. My other bit of advice is to use a very sharp blade, changing blade frequently if necessary. All in all, I’m super pleased!

Looks good!

Overall I'm pretty happy with these tiles. Installation was tricky for me because I was doing the area around my fireplace which was not level and required some challenging cuts. Once I got that figured out it was actually pretty easy and forgiving to stick it onto my existing tile. We'll see how it holds up to the heat of my gas fireplace but so far so good (only been about a week of having the fireplace on but the tiles have been up for months).

A temporary fix

They look great, but if you have to make any cuts (and you likely will) the cut seams do not stick very well. Mine peeled away after one week, and had to be glued back on. The surface was prepped well, and primed. A good temporary fix for an open house, but perhaps not a good long term solution for wiping and keeping clean. Cost is close to actual ceramic tiles.

Not what I expected:(

I had to replace luxury vinyl tile with something semi-temporary that looked good. It’s a very small bathroom and a home depot employee suggested 7 boxes per my square footage. I ordered 7. What arrived was one box with 7 small thin cellophane wrapped sheets of tiles. They are a lot smaller than I expected, looked cheap and when I help them up to the light they are more of a blue gray and didn’t match what I was hoping for. Obsidian is more blackish gray. Also, they were pretty pricey for peel and stick. I am so disappointed.

I miscalculated the amount we needed due to what I thought came in each package. Would have needed quadruple for a small kitchenette. Seems very expensive for a small area. Would have been about $500 for an 11’ backsplash.

Color is off

Note that these tiles are way more of a charcoal grey than black colour. Didn't get to install because of this. They also have a nice texture on them so not a flat patter/colour. I have used smart tiles in the past in our camper and had no issues with install or longevity. They held up fantastic to the cold weather. Would buy this product again if in the proper colour.

[Rewarded Review] Like the real thing!

I am a fan of smart tiles and this one didn’t disappoint. They are so easy to install and even to cut when needed. Now, if you have textured walls then you might want to use an extra adhesive so it can be completely secured to the walls. If not then they might fall off, about 80% chance they will fall off eventually. I usually use wallpaper glue and that gets it done. I like that it is late and it hides the imperfections very well. Usually you are able to remove about 3-4 times before the adhesive will start wearing out. So they pretty much last a long time. I would definitely invest in these tiles. You can easily remove them; however, it might remove some texture or paint in the process. But still very well worth it.

[Rewarded Review] Looks like real tile

These smart tiles look like real tiles! If you touch them, you can tell the difference because they have the gel consistency. I bought these to use behind my bathroom vanity. I really like the contemporary design and you can't go wrong with marble. The "tiles" have a glossy finish and the "grout" is matte. Very easy to use and they come in a pack of 4.

[Rewarded Review] Frustrating Seams

Tile is nice looking and looks like real tile from a glance. However, to get this lined up it has to be extremely specific. One side of the sheet has an overlap “grout” line. That means that you have to overlap on that one side. So when doing the cuts for the bottom, as you can see in picture 1, the seams were very difficult to get line up and seamless. In my opinion, I would have to by more sheets and have a lot of waste to get it correct. That’s frustrating when you have to do so many small cuts. Other than that, it was an easy install. I think it’s a temporary backsplash and I ultimately think it’s too busy for my countertops, so may go with something simpler.

[Rewarded Review] neat tile...small packages though

I do really like the easiness and speed in which these peel and stick tiles go together rather seamlessly, and ease. They fit together like a zipper, and look like high quality tiles. The problem for us was once we saw the size of the package, and we started to price out the cost per square foot, it was just too cost prohibitive for us to use this product in our kitchen or our for our Master bedroom EnSuite bathroom.

[Rewarded Review] Alignment is NOT easy

Found the hexagon shape extremely difficult to properly align so I could see a gap. I would HIGHLY recommend that you paint the subsurface the same color as the tiles.

[Rewarded Review] Looks Elegant

I got these tiles to install behind our black and stainless steel stove. The stove has a back panel and this worked out perfectly to vent the heat and cooking debris from the tiles. When installing you have to slightly overlap the grout seams for almost real look. Four tiles cover approximately a two by two foot area. Trimming is very easy with a utility knife

[Rewarded Review] Excellent Tile

Got this (white) marble looking style tile for our bathroom backsplash. The tiles were easy to install and only needed a utility knife and cutting board to trim to size. I used a black set of tiles to add accent to the wall as well. You get four tiles per package and covers about two by two foot area. Hardest part of the install is matching up the grout lines. When done it looks like actual tiled area.

A Big Improvement

The tiles perform exactly as expected. Definitely an improvement - providing a backsplash in my bathroom. On close inspection, these are not going to be a replacement for “real” tiles, but they are a great product for a more finished appearance. Easy to install, but a little tricky to get perfect. The overlap is the most difficult part. If you are concerned, pick a larger tile style.

Excellent backsplash for our RV kitchen and bath!

We bought these to update the look of our new RV. These were so easy to use, look great, and are easy to clean up. We live near Austin, and haven't had any issues with them falling in the Texas heat. Love them! My only complaint is if you install as directed by butting the sheets up against each other, the "grout line" will be twice as thick where the seams are. Making it obvious where you start/stop a new sheet. So we overlapped them when starting a new sheet, but wish this was accounted for.
