Great Toy for Grandson

Outdoor Toys delivered the Tractor on time , The box was a little battered from the courier and there were some components missing that were later found in the car park, This is obviously a courier issue and not Outdoor Toys. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone from Outdoor Toys re missing components and he couldn't have been more helpful . Things can go a little pear shaped when ordering online but its how a company deals with these issues that sets them apart and for this alone I would leave a 5 star review. The tractor is great my grandson absolutely loves it, the flower beds are now trashed and everyones ankles in the garden are fair game ! His driving skills require a little work for sure .

12V John Deere ride on Tractor

Fast shipment, relatively easy assembly. Grandchildren love it! It is slow or fast with reverse. Everything as advertised. Although expensive, Highly recommend this for toddlers. This is the third I have purchased over the years

My Son Loves His Tractor!

I visited Blains for the first time and loved the store. While I was there I saw this tractor that automatically became a "must have" for my 2.5 year old. I ended up ordering online and picking up at a store that was closer to me (was out of state at the time).

The instructions were easy to understand and it was easy to put together The parts are high quality and sturdy Our granddaughter will be three next month and she loves it! She goes all over the farm and we haven't had any issues with traction as some of the reviews we read She loves putting her everything from her dolls to rocks and sticks in the utility trailer The radio picks up local stations and plays loud and clearly I highly recommend the John Deere tractor!!

Machine just awesome

Machine just awesome, my little guy having blast. Not dangerous at all. Trailer flimsy but it works well then he backing, it doesn't get stuck. The lock on trailer tongue has been tuff to lock in place, it broke off, so we used simple pin from garden trailer, it makes more realistic to my boy.

Great Product Good Price

Purchased for my great grandson 3 yr birthday. Easy assembly and great quality. Only thing I would recommend would be that it be manufactured with a radio battery box under the hood as it is inconvenient to change the batteries. I modified this one to do just that. Easy to do with low cost.

Arm falls off

My son drove it for the first time and the arm fell off. Couldn't get the arm back in the plastic was bending. For the price I returned it. Bought a new one that is now $40 more. Walmart wouldn't honour the price I paid on the first tractor. Made this one and the same arm fell off. All my son was doing was driving it around the house and when he lift the arm up it came off. Terrible I think for the price the arm shouldn't just fall off. I would have kept my first tractor if I knew the second one was going to be the same. Now I paid $40 more and Walmart wants to compensate $10 only, I will be returning this product. Such a shame but needs to be made better for the price. Meant to be driven shouldn't just fall apart.

John Deere ride on tractor with trailer

I received within a week of purchasing, very speedy delivery especially 2 weeks before Christmas. The tractor was half way put together, but it still took an hour to finish assembly. The instructions could be more informative about where each part goes. I ended up with 2 extra parts that I have no idea where they go. Although, it runs , so I hope they don’t really matter. My great grandson loves his tractor with trailer though. Just like Pappaw’s tractor he says, he just turned 2. Would recommend to friends and family.

terrible buy

What a piece of junk. Instructions are terrible. For example, it says insert screw. Several different types of screws but it doesn't tell you which one. Took me three hours to assemble. No illustrious

Multiple missing pieces

This was a Santa gift for my 4 year old for potty training. Pieces were missing from the wagon so I moved to the tractor thinking we could do without the wagon and that the tractor was the most important part. The bar that connects to the steering wheel was missing as well. I read the positive and negative reviews and decided against my better judgement since this was the exact one he wanted. Thanks for ruining my 4 year olds Christmas. Consider me a former buyer because I will never purchase another one of your products again!!

[Rewarded Review] Would highly recommend this, well worth the money

My Great Grandson LOVES this tractor. Battery needs a FULL charge before use. Not doing so will ruin it according to the directions. Fairly easy to assemble. Watching him driving around and helping bring in the wood puts a smile on my face. (He handles the starter wood)

Poor John Deer

This was supposed to be the main birthday present for my grandson. Unfortunately it came from some open box - floor sample storage partially assembled then disassembled with some plastic hinges broken. Definitely not worth money spent and three hours of my time to put it together.

3 years still going strong!

First of all this tractor is amazing, 3 years later and he's still using it daily! Plenty of power and we are still using the original battery! The tractor has taken all that has been thrown at it and plenty of wrecking. He has ripped parts off of it, including the muffler. Secondly he destroyed the tongue of the wagon because of repeated jack knifing, no biggie they sell the wagon separately! We opted to build something he wouldn't break though and used the wheels and handle bar off an old push mower and a few other pieces and built him a heavy duty cart to haul all kinds of big and heavy things. The tractor takes it and can pull much more weight than the plastic wagon could. I would definitely recommend. It was worth every penny!

Totally frustrating!

Comes with poor pictures with directions. Arrives somewhat assembled and some not. Wheels don’t easily assemble onto axle. Bolt in steering wheel doesn’t align. Fake front “counterweight” doesn’t fit at all. Got it semi assembled and charged for 3 days (suggested is 18 hours) and the thing won’t run! Says check wires which you can’t see as that’s what’s pre-assembled. Will have to take it apart to try to get it to run. NOT worth the money. 2 stars only as at least some was assembled.

Rly cool tractor that’s horrible to put together

This is a very awesome ride on tractor BUT… oh my god it was horrible to put together. So many things were not quite right, for example the bolt that you have to put through to attach the steering wheel is like 5mm too short. Good luck getting the nut on. They have a very clear picture of screwing in a screw into a place where … there is literally no hole. This was a very very frustrating experience, and I normally have no difficulty putting together furniture or other somewhat complex things. If you’re getting this as a gift, definitely leave yourself several frustrated hours and a can of beer/glass of wine to get you through it. But the end result is pretty dang amazing!

John Deere tractor

This little tractor is very sturdy and cute. Instructions are kinda vague, but doable. I put it together in about 2 hours with minimal help from my husband. Putting the trailer on the chassis requires a lot of pressure, he helped with one stubborn one. Also, getting the screw through the steering wheel apparatus needed more power than I could summon. When I was putting it together I was worried about how well it would stand up to a toddler, but once the thing is together, it’s surprisingly sturdy. It’s a little smaller than we expected, but otherwise we are pleasantly pleased with the thing.

Solid Toy

It was fairly easy to set up and has been such a fun toy for our son. I like that it is simple with just the radio (no bluetooth, usb, etc.). That gives the tractor an authentic feel. It's nice that it's all made in the US, too. The battery runs well - I had anticipated having to charge it every night, but we don't need to. It usually requires a charge every 2nd or 3rd day. The only feature that would be great to have is a parental control remote, so that when my son thinks it's funny to drive into something and keep the wheels spinning (even though he knows how to back up), I could just turn the thing off. Otherwise, it has been a great toy to have and we look forward to many years of fun with it!

Great on all terrain

We were looking for a ride on that would work on all terrain . This tractor works well on grass and gravel roads and even our driveway which is 1 inch stones. It was difficult to put together , the plastic does not snap together easily and at times when pushing to get pieces in we thought we might break it . You have to push pretty hard to get some pieces in. It took us about 3 hours to put it together. The battery life is abour 2 hours of consistent use. Charge takes about 18 hours if its not fully drained. Definitely recommend you purchase the quick charger , you can buy it at walmart too. Charges the battery in 2 hours. The tractor runs great and my son loves it. The plastic of the tractor feels very cheap so not sure how long it will last , only time will tell. Overall we are very happy with our purchase .

Good and bad for John Deere Ground Force

I think the product will be great for my my 3 yr old Grandson. It will be for his birthday in 3 weeks. the only problem is the directions and some of the parts fitting correctly. The directions have very little detail on what needs to be done and the illustrations are not good for some of the assembly. The seat on the tractor has screws which are to be mounted on a plastic frame. The problem is that the screws do not line up with the hole. Had to carve out the holes bigger in order to mount the seat. Even with the problems I am still glad that I purchased the product as I am sure my Grandson will love it
