Sturdy, nice quality

I have a severe macaw and bought the large one, it is just the right size for him. It seems to be of good quality, it’s not loose anywhere. When we first tried to put him on it he did not want it, but eventually went, our bird does not do well with new things due to he previous owners.

Easy to assemble

My birds did not like the smell of burnt wood had to sand it off. Other than that it worked great and it was easy to assemble.

What is the black stuff on the cups when unboxing?

Great product,but the cups has black residue on them.Best to use a wet wash cloth to remove the black stuff,before putting in food or water.

What type of tree did this come from?

This was a perch for a young lovebird. The base is constructed out of pine which is a soft wood. Not sure what the branches are made from, but my daughter's bird has decided to chew on the base and is successful on destroying the base sides. Hopefully it holds up.

Just awful

Literally just opened my package. The bowls are screwed in wonky (side ways) and there was black char rubbing off on us while putting it together. I wiped it down. I’m just disappointed. In the photo you’ll see what we wiped off with just one wet paper towel.

Great Bird Perch for my Cockatiel

This is a very nice bird perch. I ordered it for my cockatiel and he seems to really like it. I love how it has a water and food bowl attached to it, so I don't have to worry that he is not eating or drinking like he should be when he's out of his cage. It came unassembled in the box but its super easy to put together. I washed it all off before I let my guy use it just to be safe. It was a great price and it arrived the day after I bought it. Great deal! :)

excellent product, looks great and very usefull fomr my bird. just note the plates are a little bit bigger than in the image, but great quality, real wood.

Good product. Creative,fair. The dove seems to prefer the food dish to the wooden seat though.

Great Buy

Nice stainless steel cups screw on easily. Perfect for Consure/Cockatiel sized birds. Parakeets would love it too. I plan to buy more so the bird can fly to different rooms and have a landing spot that is acceptable for daily life with a bird. :)

Perfect and portable

Perfect for small-medium parrots. I have two babies... one Quaker parrot and a Caique. They love each their own perch tree. The cups are removable too...

Suggestions to make Better Use

First, the scorched appearance is NOT stain, looks like burnt wood of unknown type. 2nd the metal washer for the base connection is not good choice. I use a large rubber washer instead, allows for tight connection without rupturing the bolt inside the main stalk when tightening. 3rd I use 4 rubber grommets under each corner for non-slippage & firm surface grip. 4th, I don't use the enlarged deep feeder cups, I insert a pecan slice in each hole to entice my Pionus to climb up a small ladder to first perch, and then step up to top perch. 5th I use a large metal or plastic clamp as an intermediate step between the 2 inserted wooden perches. Now, I have a new place for my bird to be happy hanging out on!!
