It gets water and any other kind of marks on it very easily. It will be hard to keep it looking nice.

Worth it

Works very well. Need to add extra shelving to a tiled shower. We didn’t have much room for a large niche. The are very well made and raptor install.

Expensive, but good quality, very strong and easy to install. Why this item is not carried in store I have no idea. I was lucky I found it on line.

High quality and very appealing

This shelf is top notch quality and very appealing as well. I was surprised how heavy it was. Sturdy enough to last and last. The stainless finish is sleek and smooth except for the beautiful floral cut outs. I also purchased the pentagon corner shelf in the same pattern. I plan to stack them in the corner of my tub surround tile. My installer is impressed with the quality and ease of installation. Schluter is the best stuff and worth the money. I definitely recommend this product and the entire Schluter product line.

Solid but Expensive

Do the math before you buy more than one. I questioned my sanity when three rang up for over $270. The installer forgot to order shelves and these were the best looking option for a quick turn-around. Very solid. It's going in a beach condo, and I HOPE it's a good stainless steel that'll be rust free. The installer and I didn't trust only sinking the little nubs in the grout line, so he rested the whole edge in the tile. There's a good video on-line for DIY installing it as directed.

Heavy Duty Shelf!

Very solid shelf! Well worth the money. I modified the installation a bit due to the herring bone pattern of the tile. An angle grinder with a diamond blade easily notched the tiles to install the shelf. The shelf rests on the tile and you silicone them into place. Very easy!
