Better Pool Skimmer Basket!

It is much better made that the one I bought last at the local retail swimming pool dealer. The plastic material appears to be better and the handle is more robust. Incidentally the photo shown in the upper left hand of this response page dose not look like the one I received! If you want a photo of the one I received and the one it replaced, let me know.

Best basket for Hayward skimmer

I specifically like the fold up handle. That get's the handle out of the way of my pool cleaner connection that is in the skimmer. This is the only skimmer basket that has the moveable handle that I have found to fit my skimmer. Love it.

A good deal?

To me this item is overpriced. Unfortunately, it was the only one I could find in such short notice. With the metal handle, it is heavy enough to remain in position in the skimmer. The basket seems to be well made, it skims/filters good and is easy enough to clean. Whether it was "A Good Deal" or not remains to be seen.. Ask me in 10 - 12 years.

Perfect replacement for Pac-fab skimmer basket

This skimmer basket is essentially identical to the original Pac-fab skimmer basket, with improvements in the quality of the plastic. The plastic is more resistant to pool chlorine degradation. Cheaper generic replacements do not work as well, mainly because they do not have a heavy metal handle to anchor the basket in the skimmer.
