Birds & Squirrels love it.

I love that it has a screen/mesh bottom, so water doesn't collect in it when it rains. Once in a while I knock it against the side of the deck to clear our any hulls left behind, but it requires basically no maintenance. I purchased it in the spring and it seems to be holding up well, but it may be worth sealing the wood when you first purchase it to extend it's life. I got this feeder to primarily distract the larger visitors (Cardinals, Blue Jays, Squirrel etc.) that don't fit into my small feeders. Birds of all sizes visit it.

Great Feeder

The birds in my yard have really enjoyed this new feeder. It's especially great for putting out larger nuts for birds such as Blue Jays and Nuthatch. I'm glad that there is a way for the water to get out when the snow melts.

Nice Feeder, Better Than Expected

It's well built and held together with screws all the way around. The bottom mesh is nice and not large for seed to pass thru but only water should it get rained on. Longevity is unclear at this point since I just received it. I expect to get a few years out of it and winter is just around the corner. Time will tell. I also use a North States 2 way squirrel baffle that helps to keep the rain off somewhat. The price was reasonable to.

Our Birdie Feeder

We has a bird feeder but non of the large birdies could eat at it so we purchased this one and the birdies are flocking to the birdie food. Thanks for this great product. We love it.

Platform bird feeder

Well-made bird feeder although if you have a problem with grackles or cowbirds ( both of which tend to arrive in large numbers), theyll hog the feeder to the exclusion of smaller or less pushy birds. No fault of the feeder, of course.
