Freestanding dog & cat gate

I love this freestanding dog gate. It is wide enough for my dining room entry and it looks very nice and it is solid. It works perfect for my dogs.

Great purchase!

Good quality stand alone wooden gate. It keeps our mini dachshund from falling down our steps and looks attractive too. Easy to fold. Works well for us.

Easy set up!

These gates are light weight, movable and help contain my Cavalier King Charles and Yorkshire Terrier. No more issues when I open the front door or back door for deliveries. They are excited to see who is their and satisfied to wag their tails in greeting but no more issue with trying to escape and run free.

Pet Gate

I thought I was getting the same gate I purchased before. This is not sturdy or heavy. Not the quality I was expecting.

Flimsy and light-weight

Bought this to keep our dogs sequestered in the living room. Our smaller dog, weighing 45 lbs, can easily scoot it until it's out of the way. I thought for the price it would be sturdy and better quality than this. Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it!

Great dog gate

I bought it to keep a larger foster dog downstairs and my little dogs upstairs for safety reasons. We did use a strap to tie it to one side of the stairs to keep her from being able to move it. Works great and has helped us to relax worrying for our personal dogs! Even with one side strapped, it can still fold up for you to walk through.

Does the job

The gates are fairly sturdy and fold easily. But being a woodworker the finish is rather rough like sandpaper in places. It appears to hold up well but it looks like they never dust off before applying the next set.

Not what i was expecting

This little fence is more of a detour for the dog than anything else. It has to have something supporting it so it doesnt move. In our case it is blocking the puppy from eating our shoes and going downstairs. If we move the shoes, the puppy can move the fence.

Works really well

This gate is so nice we decided to buy a second one for the office, since we take our dog to work with us. I like how it's sectional so it can be squared. The only thing that I don't like is my dog can push it out of the way, so I need to put a heavy object on the end to keep it from moving.

Pet Adobe pet gate

Comes assembled.The gate ( think balsa wood) and hinges are pretty flimsy for the money. Do not recommend .

Flimsy Dont Bother

My title basically says it all. I mean it looks nice, it’s accurately described but it’s very very lightweight and flimsy so my medium size also push that right over

Doesn't Balance

I was really looking forward to this fence for my dog but it's off balance and it wobbles back and fourth. I wish I could upload a video of my dog basically walking up to it and pushing the one panel on the end open because it's high enough off the ground for it to swing around. The only way I can show is by this photo and you can see the panels aren't leveled to each other. I'm debating about returning this item.

It does the job...

I got this gate to keep dogs from going on to the terrace. Dogs are small so it does the job. It is cute and light. unfortunately, it came broken in one of the corners. So it will probably not last long I will have to tape it together.

Total Junk

This is shockingly bad. Pics don't do it justice. Wood is split and warped. Painted poorly. Parts clearly needed to be sanded but weren't - just painted over. Screws in hinges were not even screwed in all the way. Panels misaligned. A failure at every step. Talk about junk! Also, I bought 2 - quality was terrible on both.

Pretty, but not effective

Purchased to keep dog from attacking the door when I leave, however, with no locking mechanism, dog pushes hinged sections easily and has destroyed the window treatments. My greatest fear is that he breaks a pane of glass while I'm out.

Gate for Rufus

My parents have been wanted a fence of some sort to keep my silly beagle from wandering the house.. There's about 5 1/2' of space from kitchen to living room for where they wanted the gate. I looked and looked on-line and found this one on Chewy. I ordered... it came a few days later. It works perfectly.

Extremely cheap and came broken

This gate was extremely cheap and it came with a piece missing - we can't even use it! Very very disappointed... Do not waste your money on this product.

Disappointing gate

Gate is ok in that I like the length of it, but it is very cheaply made. I ordered it for a our new puppy that we were getting 2 days later and it arrived with one of the slats broken. It was also much shorter than I expected, so would only work for a very small dog/puppy. (Yes, I know the measurements are listed but still). I didn't have time to order another, so tried to repair myself. Other slats started to loosen within only 2 weeks of use and any dog or puppy could easily knock the whole thing over with little effort - my 5 lb. puppy was able to knock it over or just squeeze thru the slats. It is more of a visual deterrent than anything else. For the money, you can buy a better gate, wish I had.

Works where I want it.

I am glad I got the freestanding gate for my new puppy. I can move it to the area that I need to keep him out of. It looks nice and is fairly sturdy. My dog is 6 lbs.

Serves a purpose

Love these gates! I have two already in white. Decided to order one more; unfortunately only available in expresso. They serve a purpose for me, to keep my huskies out of certain areas. One other review notes poor quality material. I think they’re just perfect, heavy duty and well-made.
