I bought two for my cats and they love them! The mat is very soft and keeps them nice and warm when it's cold, and they can stretch out or stay curled up. This is a great size for cats and small dogs.

Perfect for the feral cat enclosure

It is perfect for the enclosure I made for a feral cat. He seems to go in quite a lot, especially at night. Gets cold here in Minnesota!

Nice kitty heat pad

The pad itself is nice and the kitties enjoy it. The covering was fine (I thought) but one of my cats disagreed and peed on it. Since removing the original cover and just using a light blanket instead, everything has been great.

Perfect

It took a few days for the cats to realize it warmed up more the longer they sat. It does not use much electricity. The cover held up well during a wash. It should be noted that the heating element is a fraction of the size of the mat/pad. There are no switches - it’s either plugged in or not. It has no timer unlike others so it is reliably on.

Toasty warm

It took a few days, but my chihuahua mix figured out the pad is just comfy warm enough for the best naps. And it’s the perfect size for a cat or small dog.

Should have read the negative reviews

As other reviews point out. The padding is way bigger than the heating pad. If you open up the zipper you'll see that only a fraction of the whole thing is actually electrically heated. I have another K&H pad that is great this one was very disappointing.

Just what I wanted

I've used one of these heating pads for years. The cats love it. Yes, as some reviewers have said, the bed cover is about twice the size of the heating pad inside, but this works out well. The cat can adjust her body for more or less heat as she likes. The heating pad itself is big enough for a large cat if she chooses to lay fully on it. The pad only heats up enough to be comfortable to the animal. It does not over-heat. Because it only heats when the cat lays on it, I leave it plugged in.

My cats All LOVE it!

All of my kitties love this warming mat so much I got a 2nd one. I did a ton of research before purchasing, and like the safety feature of it not emitting heat unless there is active pressure on it (such as a cat’s body or placing a pillow on it).

Dog loves it

We have one in all 3 of our dog’s beds. Previously had just the heating pad and made my own covers. These are much better and most importantly our dog loves them

Cat Niirvana

Sadie absolutely loves her new cat bed. She sleeps on the pad at all times. Sadie only gets off it to eat. Then she begrudgingly goes back and finishes her nap. A Good product!

Horrible smell/offgassing, not great fit

The plastic smell/ off-gassing from this product was so bad ai put it in a box outside. It has a small heating pad about 1/3 the size of the cover, and there is a foam padding that goes between the heating pad and the outer cover. I could not tell where the smell was coming from: the foam, the heating pad itself, the cover or the plastic zippered pouch. I hand washed the foam with dish soap and let air dry, machine-washed the cover & air-dried, wiped down the heating pad and the zippered pouch with neutral all purpose cleaner. I determined it was coming from the foam. I spent 30 minutes handwashing the foam again, it still smelled! NOT worth it so I got rid of it. Now I just have a super small heating pad element inside of a large slippery cover. I placed a hand towel inside but it kept moving around .. ultimately wish I didn’t buy it. I wanted a heating pad that was fairly cool when not laid on, but like I said it’s not worth the fuss and hassle.

The Thermo- Pet mat measures at a convenient size, 14 “ X 28” which allowed your family to move the mat along with our pet to various locations in the house. I particularly liked the fact that the liner can be removed and washed for cleaning purposes. The quality of the mat is very impressive and the zipper covering allows for easy access to the heating element. Overall a great quality product. Will highly recommend to family and friends.
