This is a very nice blanket. It seems to hold up well, although it doesn’t really stay on the bed when I have it on there the animals are able to move it around so it’s not really staying put very well. It does wash up nicely and it’s comfortable the cats love it but again it doesn’t really stay put.

This blanket is great! Our 3 dogs love it and I will be buying another one (or maybe two). My dogs haven’t had any accidents on it yet, so I cannot attest to whether or not it works for that. But, it’s a good quality, soft blanket. My dogs are happy with, so that makes me happy with it!

Great potty support!

I have a handicap senior chihuahua who doesn’t like diapers or peepee pads. This is perfect! She doesn’t know it’s a peepee pad and thinks it’s super comfortable. We haven’t tested it out yet with peepee, luckily. It’s there for her though when she needs it.

Poor quality control

I ordered the blanket thinking this could just the thing for my senior cat who has frequent accidents on the bed. When taking the blanket out of its bag I noticed a 6 inch section of the blanket that was not bound together at the ample edge seam. The blanket consists of 2 layers bound together at the edges. With this large a gap at the edges, my cat could potentially get herself stuck in a large bag if she were to explore the openning in the seam. I folded the blanket back up and discovered the blanket shed fuzz all over my bedspread. Poor workmanship.

So far the best waterproof blanket. I’ve purchased many others and they weren’t what they said waterproof . My 17 year old dog has many accidents but it’s ok now just wash and put back on bed no more having to change the whole bed just this blanket. I’m in love with it as my baby is as well getting another one for the couch that’s how GREAT IT IS !!! A need to try for yourself but you will thank me if you have a dog that just has accidents frequently . Thanks again for the waterproofing blanket need more but looking for larger size same blanket .

Graham is so thankful

I was at my wits end with him. He was chewing on everything and I mean EVERYTHING!! Every rug I have he has been chewed on….Until I purchased a (Pet Parents Brand) Blanket. My son googled it and came up with this so I took a chance and got 2 of the blankets. It’s made his days so much better. He drags his blanket everywhere and I can wash one and doesn’t have to be without his blanket. Thank you, Graham and I cannot thank you enough!!

Best blanket

This truly is the best blanket! It is the perfect weight to keep my little dachshunds warm and still let them burrow their way under. Banded edging is an added bonus! Have purchased multiple in all sizes for different places around the house. Thanks for helping me spoil my little guys!

A blanket of her own

Our old lady has arthritis and kidney disease, so we like to pamper her while we can. She loves our fuzzy blankets so we decided get her two of her own. (So we can rotate and wash them.) we use it to wrap around a heating pad in her bed (also from Chewy) so she can be cozy 24/7. Somedays she prefers her own bed and blanket to sharing ours! It’s very soft and easy to clean, we just toss it in with our towels and don’t use fabric softener. Dryer safe too, regular dry cycle and it’s ready to go.

Useful in the Seat When Traveling

I already had one of the Pet Parents Pawtect Blanket Waterproof Premium Dog & Cat Blankets in one of my vehicles and purchased another for my second vehicle. My miniature Aussiedoodle had an accident (urine) in the seat when traveling. Thankfully, she was sitting on this blanket. It absorbed it very well. I threw it in the washer once we got home and it laundered very well.

Full transparency, I added this blanket to my order to get free shipping because I thought "What an affordable blanket!" I have two older dogs, so waterproof blankets are great to have on hand. But, when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised! Super soft, great feel, and perfect to toss onto a dog bed, human bed, or couch. Really, really pleased with this blanket and will likely buy more.

Pawtect® Blanket Plus

These blankets are amazing. They hold a surprising amount of liquid, with the bottom remaining completely dry. They have saved our couch from frequent accidents by our aging cat. They machine wash and dry very well. Our cat loves them. Plus they are super cuddly and warm, which is a plus during cold weather. Highly recommend for anyone trying to protect things from cat accidents.

Absolutely Pawsome

My girl is almost 19 years old and has had some incontinence issues. I have bought several waterproof blankets and different brands but this company is paws down my favorite. The liquid does get pulled in and then top does tend to dry shortly after. This helps to keep her dry which means the world to me.

Back for fourth purchase

I’m back looking to make a sixth blanket purchase. Currently, I have two large Plus waterproof blankets on a queen bed, with each blanket covering 1/2 of the bed’s surface. I have one regular large water resistant blanket to cover the seat of a standard sized loveseat, and a second one covering the adjacent back, and top of loveseat. Now, for a king sized bed, we have one large Plus waterproof blanket, yet it only covers 1/4 - 1/3 of the bed’s surface. The plan is to purchase another large Plus, laying each lengthwise so that each can fully cover the pillows and the upper 1/2 of each side of bed. The Plus blankets take several hours to dry and is why I’m glad that these “large” blankets are as small as they are. If the plus blanket were any heavier, I wouldn’t be able to pull it out of the washer. These really hold onto fluids. The regular blankets are considerably lighter, less unwieldy, but also means it’s easier for a pet to pull the blanket out of the way and pee underneath. The Plus blankets are the only coverings I’ve found to effectively prevent urine from soaking through.

Plus is extra plush

Our cats have loved the Pawtect blankets in the past, and those have held up just fine. The original Pawtect blankets have saved our couch from numerous inappropriate urinations from our cat, so when I saw there was a "plus", I wasn't too sure if it was worth the added pricetag. How much heavier duty could it be, I thought? The picture does not do justice for how much heavier this blanket is!! I feel much better knowing I now have an extra defense on the specific spot of the couch my cat has repeatedly soiled. And, it is extra comfy for everyone to sit on! Win-win.

My Dog Loves It (And So Do I)

I’ve purchased PetParent products before, and I’ve always liked them. My dog loves them. I have tile floors and she spends most of her day on one of the blankets. She even picks the blanket over a sunny spot on the floor. I love the quality of this blanket. It is soft and durable with high-quality edging to ensure the blanket keeps its shape. I love PetParent products!

Covers our pillows on Queen sized bed

We ordered the largest waterproof “Plus” blanket in grey. Washed it in warm water first. It took a total of three hours to mostly dry on the med high setting. We checked after each hour, letting it rest 30 minutes in the warm dryer before restarting. This lengthy dry cycle is certainly due to the waterproof material. Most blankets take us 45-60 minutes to dry. After three hours, there was no dryer lint to speak of. We used four wool dryer balls during the full drying cycle, and the blanket held up well, and came out looking even better than before the washing/drying. Very pleased with that. Strangely, if our cats get into our bedroom, they like to pee on our pillows, which are too expensive to keep replacing. After draping this over our new pillows, fleece side up, the cats went over to nurse and sleep on it. They seem to have no interest in urinating. The tarp-like material inside probably does a good job at blocking any odors from below, which might also help deter them from choosing pillows (over clean litter). The item is just big enough to fit half the length, and the full width, of a queen sized bed. As much as I’d like to see this twice the size, fitting an entire length of a queen bed, I’m not quite sure how well it would dry, and the wet weight would probably be too heavy for me to remove from washer. In comparison, the regular water resistant Pawtect blanket is super quick to wash and dry. As long as nothing punctures the Plus blanket, urine should not seep through. This blanket is amazing, but it does not defy gravity, nor the science of wicking. So, if you don’t want urine to ruin other items, you’ll want to clean this blanket before it has had a chance to spill or wick over the edges.

Exactly what we needed

We have the smaller ones that we bought when we had our older pups which are still working great. We just needed something a lot bigger as we are fostering a large dog with some urinary incontinence issues. This is perfect. We trust it and she loves to lay on it.

Very Happy with belly bands and blanket

The belly bands exceeded expectations. They were very soft, not bulky, elastic conformed well to dogs body and he was able to move as if he was not wearing them. Plus the colors are attractive. Your pet enzyme detergent eliminated any urine odor. The blanket was soft, warm and nice looking. Very pleased with quality of products and customer service.

I love it, my picky dog doesnt

This blanket is awesome and actually works. With that being said, my dog dislikes it 😆. Our adopted pitty has a weak bladder and sometimes leaks when he sleeps, so we got this to put over the couch, on his bed, etc. He.... tolerates it. He would much rather steal all the other soft blankets around the house though lol. Maybe it's the sound or make because of the liner? Either way we've turned it into the car blanket when he goes for rides.
