Buy the Portion Pro RX if it’s within your budget.

Unlike the Portion Pro RX, you have to wait for the conveyer belt to fill with kibbles as I understood it. I can’t cpmment because I chose the Portion Pro RX instead and haven’t regretted the decision. Buy once, cry one regarding the PPrx.

I can now sleep late as the smart feeder takes care of feeding my dog in the morning. It distributes the food over 15 minutes.

Worked great until just past the one year warranty

I was relying on this to feed my cat who needs a limited diet. Suddenly, there was a ton of food left in his bowl. I've been consulting with his vet and trying to to figure out why he's not eating. Extra trips to weigh him, etc. We figured out he isn't losing weight. After more digging, I found this feeder is sometimes getting "stuck" and dispensing many meals all at once. I checked, and we purchased 9/9/23, and it's now 9/28/24 so we are just past the one year warranty. I'm going to try a different brand. Too bad, I liked it until I couldn't trust it!

Feeder Not Reliable

I purchased this product a year ago within 10 months the device started jamming and stopped dispensing food. I would clean the mechanism and it would work a couple of times, but then stop again. So it is not very reliable.

Not worth the money. Your pets will starve.

Works great if you don’t travel. No issues when I’m near my home base , but After owning it for a year or so, it comes offline within 24hrs of starting a trip. It says it continues to dispense when offline, but that’s not true. My cat sitter has been there many times when it should have dispensed food and it does not. Don’t take a chance on your fur babes starving while you’re away.

Amazing feeder!

Extremely fast shipping, packaged well. Product itself is well made, sturdy, easy to setup, works great. Maybe not wash the conveyor belt like petsafe tell you to though as it takes forever to dry. Hope it lasts!

DO NOT BUY!!

I have gone through 2 of these feeders in the last 3 years. It will not last, do not purchase. The first feeder the motor burned out (so you could not store more than 1 cup of food in feeder or it would not dispense). Reached out to customer service and they said I had to buy a whole new one. Which is dumb, would have been more efficient to just replace motor. Bought another one, lasted BARELY a year, a year and 20 days to be exact. Same thing, no resolution. There are better feeders on the market, PICK SOMETHING ELSE! If you don’t u will regret it.

A Game Changer for Pet Owners!

This product has been a real game changer. The Feed Now option and the Slow Feed option are super useful. I appreciate the alerts to my phone and the ability to customize mealtimes. The feature to set up to 12 meals and the 15-minute food dispense timing option is just fantastic. The highlight for me, though, is the Wifi-Enabled feature. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can monitor my pet's feeding from anywhere. Definitely worth the investment.
