Bright white light. Dimmable with no hum or flicker so far. Replaced another name brand (GE Reveal LED) that died waaaay to soon. Will buy some more. Hopefully will last a lot longer than the other brand. Experience with Philips bulbs has generally been good.

Philips brand never disappoint

Phillips is known for better quality and durability. That’s why they’re strong in the market and I’m seeing why now. This is very decent bulb to use in the kitchen I recommend dad.

Bulb states not for enclosed light fixtures

Only bought these as the pkg says can be used in enclosed light fixtures to find lightbulb has printed on it not to use in enclosed light fixtures??? Which is it? I have enclosed light fixtures and need bulbs rated for enclosed, very dissatisfied with contradictory product statements/labeling.

Very nice bulbs

I am working on switching all of my bulbs in my house to LED, these fit the task perfectly. I always liked the Philips brand when it came to light bulbs as they have always lasted a long time and put out a nice amount of light. These bulbs are a "daylight" color so they have more of a white hue rather than a warm yellow. Being dimmable was also something I definitely wanted, these bulbs dim nicely without any flickering or humming. Best of all they are 60watt replacements using only 8watts! Love them so far.

Ultra-Definition LED Light Bulbs

I saw the Philips Ultra Definition 8W (60 W Equivalent) LED light bulbs advertise better color rendering inside my home. The bulbs are the standard A19 shape and E26 base as most of my current lamp bulbs, are dimmable, 800 Lumens, Daylight 5000K temperature and came in a 4 pack. The Ultra Definition are have a high color rendering index (CRI) that make them more comfortable for your eyes and enhance colors as compared to natural light. I did find them to better than my current bulbs for color acuity.

The Phillips 60-watt equivalent A19 ultra definition dimmable E26 LED light bulb daylight is a good solution for using in a setting requiring daylight illumination in doors. The bulb is full glass from the base like incandescent bulbs of the past. It is sufficiently bright and operates as expected in full on or dimmed settings. I like the energy savings of only 8 watts for a 60 watt equivalent bulb.

Energy Saving LED 60 Watt Equivalent for 8 Watts Power

Buying a light bulb has never been more confusing. Here’s the “skinny” on this Phillips light bulb: It puts out 800 lumens of 5000 Kelvin light. 800 lumens is about what you used to get from a 60 Watt incandescent bulb, but this LED bulb only draws 8 Watts. So you use less electricity! 5000K means it is very bright/daylight bright. If you want a softer / yellow hue (more like an old incandescent bulb) then don’t buy this and find a bulb rated at 3000 K (or less).

Perfect outdoor bulb

this bulb works perfectly in our outdoor coach light. lights up the driveway in a bright, white glow. makes me feel safe coming home at night as it is a brighter light. Easy to install. love the smart energy savings with Phillips bulbs.

Great light

I have had this product for a few weeks now and am very happy with it. I have it installed in the main entrances of my house and it lights the area perfectly. The light is a warm color which is not to bright when entering the house. I also have it connected to a dimmer switch for the early mornings and this light works great on any setting no flickering just a nice smooth dimming.
