The spike on the bottom is made of plastic. It snapped off when I was adjusting it. I don't recommend buying items made with plastic.

Flame effect quit working after about a week. Doesn’t seem to get but a handful of bugs. Pole is flimsy. Overall poor purchase.

Lights Stopped working

I bought three a few weeks ago and put them outside to have some light and to zap mosquitoes. But all of a sudden the lights stopped coming on. I’m not sure what happened. They’re supposed to be outdoor lights. If it was the rain that caused them to stop that doesn’t make sense since they are made for the outdoors.

Have been using it for about a week. Doesnt seem to have caught any mosquitoes, only moths.

Very realistic flame effect and decent at silently killing flying insects. No way that I can see to change dead batteries though

I love this it's beautiful at night, gives a warm glow. it's keeping those pests away too. Great product I highly recommend.

Nice wherever is placed

So nice I'm on my 3rd one ,love the ambiance it creates as for the bug zapping might not be too effective seems to collect a couple of bugs. I was expecting to get the Mosquito Octenol Lure as described on the registration but never receive them, maybe it will work great as a bug zapper with the Lure.

We bought 6 and they kill a lot of bugs . Maybe not all but a big part of them . Nothing is perfect.

Stopped coming on

Has worked great for several months now won’t light up. I push the reset button on the side and it does a quick flicker but don’t know sequence to get it to stay on. Same thing for all of them.

I have three of these and they do not last very long. They come on although one of them I have to turn on manually every night. My friend’s two, burn all night long every night and go off at daylight. Mine do not stay on, but about three hours, if that long. They all are in a location where they get lots of sunlight during the day. They just are not what I expected. I love them when they are on and flaming. They are just gorgeous and what I expected. They just don’t stay on all night and late until the evening to really benefit when I sit on the porch with a strong mosquito population.

Poor performance

Even for a solar light, duration is low. Two hours is the longest any of them has stayed on. Not impressed, I don't recommend.

Only works at night unless you cover the electronic sensor on top. We have the Asian Tiger variate of Mosquitos and it did not stop them. Only thing found in the insect tray was dead moths

I really like an idea and the way it looks when it is getting dark, and flame shows up.

Doesn’t do anything

This zapper does absolutely nothing. Not a single bug /insect is attracted to it . Money wasted . Have it for about 2 months and the little tray is empty

Underwhelming performance

There is literally a mosquito infestation where I live. You cannot go outside without literally being covered in them. Having said that this torch has been outside for 2 nights now and has managed to kill literally about 20 mosquitos. For basically $40 that is a joke. I expected something of way better quality.

Absolutely horrible. After a few weeks, won't work

I bought two of these and they started off great, but after just a few weeks, they no longer turn on for more than a minute. I'd return them immediately if I still had the boxes, a waste of money!

Does not catch mosquitoes

The red flames does not attracts the mosquitoes.

Great product

I wrote a review on July 28th rating this torchh as 1. I am retracting that review as I discovered my little niece accidentally turned the torch off. This torch is working as it should. It does zapp bugs.

Don’t buy these ,they don’t work !

Bought two of these , but they don’t attract/ kill bugs at all . We were so excited to not have bugs around our deck this summer. Wishful thinking on this product.

Very easy to put together. Easy operation and they work! Plus I love the way they look!
