These are gorgeous. Well made and a reasonable price. This pattern and the Pimpernel quality has been my favourite for many, many years. They eventually need replacing after years of daily family use, so this is a replacement purchase. But I wouldn't settle for anything else.

Product way as expected. Quality brand. However it came packed in styrofoam peanuts with can’t be recycled. Will not be ordering again.

A little too busy of a pattern for me

I like the pattern, but by the time you put the blue Italian plates on this place mat, it is a little too busy of a pattern. They are cork lined place mats, I decided to keep them for another set - off white, simple plates. Worked great. Easy to clean.

received my parcel today. Ladies , I want to say that everything was packed very well. What can I say about napkins, this is a beautiful and high-quality product. It does not slip on the table and looks very nice. Definitely recommend!!!!

Peeled

I haven't owned these too very long and one of them is already starting to peel. They have been treated with care, and are only used twice daily, if that. I don't know what I'm going to do with just three of them at a table that seats four.

Adorable placemats and coasters

I adore these placemats and coasters and have purchased these before. However, please can you look into the top vinyl cover as over time and usage the finish spilts in places and then looks unsightly. Thankyou.

Best Placemats

The quality is superb. I bought 2 sets of 4 and was pleasantly surprised that they are as good as my original ones bought 24 years ago while living in Europe .My old ones are made in England and these are made in China. I have other products from Pimpernel and they are well made, easy to care and always beautiful. Thanks to Macy's for bringing these products to USA.

Toxic odor, unattractive matte finish

Placemats emit a terrible toxic odor, like vinyl chloride (from the glue that holds the cork backing to the surface?). And the finish is matte, not glossy like the same style mats I've purchased in the past. Not attractive, and the odor is especially worrisome since these are intended to be used at the dinner table. Returning them.

These placemats are the perfect addition to my blue and white kitchen re-do and to my Spode Italian blue and white dishes I bought from Wayfare. Not only are they beautiful and classic, but with one wipe of the cloth, they are ready for the next meal. No need to launder like other placemats, and they are so pretty I leave them out on my table. Life simplification!

I saw these placemats on the website and thought they looked very pretty. I ordered them and they came within a couple of days and they are just what I wanted. I have some Italian Spode china and it looks great on these mats........Very happy Pimpernel is a great brand been around for ages

Looks very elegant

I bought a while ago s set of four and liked it very much. Meanwhile, I realized that I need 6 or 8 ...

As I expected from Wayfair, these place mats are unique, classy and durable (a great advantage being you can set hot items on them and just wipe them off to clean them). They lay flat on the table instead of wrinkle like most place mats and add color and interesting detail to a dark wood dining room set. I found the same item for less on another site; however, the return policy was vague and being at home for delivery was required- who are they kidding? I know if I get something from Wayfair, returns are a breeze and delivery is efficient with no strange stipulation. These place mats are like table art. I strongly recommend them.
