These are holding up very well. I have learned to coat the backs and sides of this type of placemat against grease and water. I use Mod Podge.

I purchased these to replace a set of Pimpernel placements that I had for years. Not long after we started using them, I noticed there was a split on the art on the front. We still use them but I thought we'd get a lot more use out of them before they began deteriorating.

Not what I was expecting. Good quality but they remind me of a 1980s dinner placemat with the design and finish. I thought they looked nicer in the pictures but wont say the pictures misrepresent them at all.
