Thrilled with my new bin. Great size holds a lot of rubbish, and super easy to empty with the removable container. It’s a great height as on legs. And nice soft touch opening. Perfect functionality but its top score is how great it looks. Worth every penny forbthat combination

Great Design

Purchased this bin after having a very unsatisfactory bin in the past. The previous bin was difficult to empty and not of a very good quality. This bin is VERY good quality, easily maintained and looks very smart in our kitchen. The legs are a particularly good feature as they make it look more appealing as a general piece of furniture rather than obviously a bin.

I wanted this garbage can so bad! I finally decided to order it, first Wayfair purchase! I was surprised to see that a trash can that cost that amount of money would be shipped without any type of packaging. They could have at least put it in a box with some type of padding. I opened the box, and of course it was dented. The excitement of receiving my beautiful, long awaited Brabantia, quickly turned to disappointment! I had already gotten rid of my old trash bin, and when I called Wayfair, I was told that they didn’t have another one. Well, they kinda did, I told them I would get the stainless steel one but I was told they don’t do exchanges which makes no sense. After uploading photos, packing up this box, driving to FedEx, paying to park, just to return a garbage can to then that they clearly couldn’t sale, finally, I was refunded my money. Oh wait, I forgot, they did offer to give me 25 of my money back if I wanted to keep it. Why would I want a 140.00 dented garage can So this garbage can, that I would have loved if it wasn’t damaged, cost me time and money. So, if you’re thinking about splurging a little, buyer beware!!

More money than I ever expected to pay for a trash bin, but the appearance and convenience of the bin balances out. The outer metal cover is thin and is prone to denting if you're not careful. Pro tip, there are off brand trash liners that will fit this product.

36L Bo Bin

I absolutely love my new kitchen bin (as sad as that may sound)! Robert Dyas were selling it at the cheapest price and I proceeded to order it from them. Great communication from purchase onwards, prompt delivery. Absolutely no issues with the bin itself. Easy to assemble legs and comes with a few free 36l bin liners. The bin works seamlessly and is easy to keep clean. Bin liner remains hidden and it just looks like a piece of furniture rather than a bin in my kitchen. 10 year guarantee also which gives me peace of mind.

New Brabantia Bin

I absolutely love my new bin. The lid and the opening to it is fantastic, my last brabantia bin was 30 litres. This one is 36 but with the bigger opening you don't get stuff around the edges when putting rubbish in it. Would so recommend this bin and John lewis were the cheapest around for it 😀 😉

Functional and great looking

I was always looking for a kitchen bin that was pleasant on the eye but it seemed there were none (everything was based on functionality and not appearance). That was until I discovered this beauty! Functional and great to look at. I’m so happy with my purchase.

Beautiful product

Beautiful product making home waste-management a neat and easy job. Designed so elegantly that it looks like a feature in our kitchen. Easy to remove and replace bags and always looks neat and elegant with bags hidden.

Overpriced and not functional

A bin is suppose to keep ants and other insects out of it and this bin fails at this basic requirement. The problem is the bin doesn’t seal closed and allows ants to get into it. Its like buying a fancy looking phone and it can’t actually make calls. Can’t recommend this bin at all. Very disappointed

Practically Perfect

We have had much cheaper cylinder bins for years, and if you squash down the rubbish (like my husband did, always) it makes it very difficult to get the bin bag out. I've lost count of the amount of times I've heard expletives coming from the kitchen (because if he's the one that causes the problem, he can deal with it!) while he's struggling to remove the bag.

Review of Bo 36l Touch Bin By Brabantia

I love the look of this Bo Touch Bin. We have just finished our kitchen extension and new kitchen and I wanted something that looked more like a piece of furniture than a boring looking bin. We have also installed underfloor heating and it was advised that we get a bin with legs to avoid any nasty smells as this would happen if the bottom of the bin was touching the floor and the underfloor heating was on. It is a little pricey but for us totally worth it to complete the look. It's a great height too and I am so pleased that the white is a pure white and not an off-white.

Can you be in love with a bin?

I have had various bins over the years and had a Brabantia touch bin 50l one for the last 10 or so years. We moved house and had to always have the bin in front of the large glass doors of our kitchen, so always looked a bit stuck out. We are a family of 4, so a hidden bin under the sink was never an option. So when I saw the bo bin I had to have it! And it has not disappointed - I love it!!! Because;

Form over Function?

I have mixed feelings about this very stylish bin, it promises so much in style and yet I'm not convinced it delivers practically? Here's my findings -

Beautiful and useful

Beautiful may be a strong word to describe a bin..but it really is a good looking product. Its really well made and feels very sturdy. The touch opening works very well and opens and closes with a very satisfying push and click that catches every time. You can just feel that the bin will not pop open independently. The wide opening makes it very easy to fill. The bin blends into our kitchen, but also stands out as its so well designed. Only issue I can foresee is whether I will be able to get any non branded bin liners to fit as they could work out costly - although you do get a starter pack of 3 liners in with the bin. Very easy to set up, and also easy to empty. Great product.

a great addition to the kitchen

This bin is both stylish and practical. Its sleek design means that it could fit in with any kitchen and the choice of colours means you can either have it as a feature or to complement the tones of your kitchen. We have the model in white and with a white kitchen this means that it fits in nicely.

Retro and Stylish

I was surprised how large it was when it arrived. Love the legs and how they can also be height adjusted. Looks very retro and stylish and not like a regular bin, and could be used for storage rather than rubbish, even a laundry basket maybe.
