I bought this $96 marble cake stand three months ago. The company that makes it advertizes itself as a fine maker of silver and glass products (Godinger) and did not offer a warrenty at the time. After just three months, the pedestal has detached from the cake plate and would be hard to reatach as it is very heavy. I called Wayfair and told them what had happened and was told that they would not help me to get it repaired or replaced as I had not purchased an extended warrenty (which I was not offered). It was $96! Shouldn't there be some responsibility as I did nothing to cause the damage. This will definitely affect my further purchases from Wayfair in the future!

This was purchased as a gift. They loved it. Beautiful and heavy which keeps it upright.

The marble cake stand is nice, but the dome looks cheap. The glass is not clear.

Very good quality, large in size, and beautiful

Horrible construction. Base/foot was attached significantly off-center and was unusable. Marble was stained with glue at base. Marble base also had a noticeable gouge that never should have made it past quality control. Perhaps this was a second?
