Works as it should

This review is for the TRINITY EcoStorage 25 Gal. Sliding Trash Can Chrome. The price is a bit better than most other brands however, it is not as heavy duty as others. Having said that, it is sufficient for its purpose and the trash can is a decent size. The installation was simple, especially since we are still at a rough-in stage in upgrading our kitchen. I like being able to have a pull-out trash can in a position near the stove and sink (which is how we designed the layout). The sliders roll easily and have a sufficient extension to enable removing the can. The only change I would make is to have push to open sliders so you don’t have to use your hands to access the trash can.

VERY VERSATILE TRASH CAN

This trash can is very versatile. The trash can comes with a holder that can be used with or without the included sliding tracks. I installed mine under my wife’s desk because it would not fit under my kitchen sink where I wanted to use it. I didn’t use the sliding tracks since it was sitting on my floor, but I did use the metal frame to make it easier to pull in and out from under the desk. The trash can is large enough for long term use but small enough to fit nicely under the desk without being in the way.

TRINITY EcoStorage 25 Gal. Sliding Trash Can review: This is a good quality trash can for installing in a slide out cabinet configuration; however, I decided to use it as a dirty clothes hamper and it is working just fine for that. It is durable enough to take a heavy drop and not crack or split. I wish it had a handle to make it easier to pickup when used for that purpose but we are quite pleased with it. There ya go!

Easy to install and slides in and out with ease

This TRINITY sliding trashcan is easy to install and use. It was neatly and securely packed and held in place by the cardboard packing insuring there was no bending of the rack. I installed it slightly differently than the directions. It comes with a template to lay out for the proper screw placements. But I simply locked down the rack in the rails, lined it up to where I wanted it to be, pinned it down in the front with the screws, and then slid the rack out and pinned down the back set of screws. This only took me ten (10) to fifteen (15) minutes to do it this way. I did have to put the included trash can sideways to get it in because of the tight fit for our cabinet. But once it was in, there were no problems from then on. It easily slides in and out with minimal effort. I will be putting doors on this cabinet later and our trash can will be out of sight until needed. It came with the rack, two (2) sliders, four () screws, a trash can, a template, and instructions.

Great under counter slider.

This is an excellent 25 gallon sliding trash can. I am in the process of remodeling my kitchen from an "L" shaped to a "U" shaped kitchen. This can may be a bit large if you have limited cabinet space, however it is perfect for larger families and large kitchens. It comes with a nice chrome rack and steel ball bearing glides which will easily hold a can full of trash up to 50 pounds. It comes with everything needed to install except a screwdriver. It includes an easy to use template to show mounting locations. It will fit in a standard sized cabinet, but will consume the entire cabinet. (Please see photos). In my application I am squaring off my corners to give me more counter area, so the can will go in a corner which had a useless lazy susan cabinet. Because I do not use many heavy and large canned goods I will use a smaller lazy susan (for spices etc.) in an upper cabinet. This will give me an otherwise wasted cabinet to install my 25 gallon trash can. 5 Stars Trinity

Dimensions shown are not correct

Don't trust the dimensional requirements listed. The total height of the bucket and rack assembled on the diagram online says 16.3 inches. The bucket itself is 17-1/2 inches in height, and the assembly comes in at just about 18-1/2 inches. The item states 18-1/2 inches clear height in the cabinet is sufficient, but that clear height will be just enough for the top of the bin to scrape the top of your opening, even without a garbage bag in it. I will be returning this.
