It is ok but not that great
We bought this thinking it was kinda cool but after one year the rubber/plastic strip on the spray head has deteriorated and it looks awful. The last kitchen faucet I had we kept over 10 years with no problems but it wasn't a kohler. I wish we kept it because I'm not in the mood to buy a replacement faucet after only one year.
WATER PRESSURE IS HORRIBLE
I LOVED THIS FAUCET WHEN WE PURCHASED IT. BUT AFTER JUST A COUPLE MONTHS THE WATER PRESSURE COMING OUT WAS BARELY ENOUGH TO RINSE THE DISHES. I CALLED AND HAD IT REPLACED. WELL HERE WE ARE AGAIN A YEAR LATER AND WE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING. WHEN YOU TAKE THE SPRAY HEAD OFF THE WATER PRESSURE COMING OUT THE HOSE IS FANTASTIC BUT THE MINUTE YOU PUT IT BACK ON...NO PRESSURE. WE LOVE KOHLER PRODUCTS BUT UNFORTUNATELY THIS ONE HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS.
Arm won't stay up, Handle loosens
I bought this in 2017, and have had problems with the head staying level the entire time. There's no way to tension it. Now the handle that controls water flow loosens off and the set screw won't stay tight. This is not covered under their lifetime warranty. Don't buy this, you will only have trouble with it.
Horrible Water Pressure
Purchased about a year ago and the water pressure used to be as you would expect but has slowly diminished to the point of not being usable. Cleaned it multiple times with no improvement. Very disappointing considering the price tag. It’s gotta be a design flaw.
Good Product, Terrible Warranty
Hello, we have this product and actually loved it originally but the base which mounts it (brass-colored aluminum threaded section) completely disintegrated after a year and is not available as a replacement part. I was told by customer service that Kohler warranties are void if your home uses a water softener. That seemed strange but the assured me it was the case. We are now in the market for a new faucet.
Very disappointed with faucet quality
We had this faucet installed in our new house and it has failed. Now that it is off it's one year warranty the pull out faucet doesn't stay up when lifted. It just falls back down and soaks the counter top. I expected more from this product.
Very Chic, a little delicate, ball joint screw hole stripped
Have had this faucet for 4 years , it still looks great. It is easy to clean. I really like the soft pull down arm. I just had to replace the ball joint and have spray head on order. The magnet separated causing the spray head to not stay on the arm. The button to adjust the spray has started to signs of wear and tear which is to be expected. When replacing the ball joint the screw provided stripped the screw hole shaving off a little piece of metal and now the inset screw is exposed. The Allen key the part came with worked great and did not take any pressure to use ,it was just like replacing an eye glass screw. assuming the screw was really sharp or the wrong thread size. Disappointed that the screw now sticks out where you grab and you can not purchase a replacement arm :( The threads from the screw under the silicone also always shows. It looks great was easy to install, but parts are delicate for the price there are better Kohler options in my opinion.
Probably Works in Zero G
It is impossible to use this faucet as the articulating arm could not hold up a fly much less the spray head it’s designed to. You have to hold the arm to keep it from dropping into the sink when rinsing or washing things off. It would be a fine product if it were possible to tighten the arm but I don’t see any mention of it. Save your money and buy the cheapest other brand faucet that actually works.
[Rewarded Review] Kohler Arise Kitchen Faucet
I love this faucet! I bought my first one for my primary home during my kitchen remodel. A year later I bought another for my secondary home. Easy to use, easy to clean. No need to stretch out the extension handle from the faucet and no worries on the faucet extension getting sloppy. Looks sharp, sleek and stylish. Moves completely out of the way when needed. The fan spray is fantastic!
[Rewarded Review] Love this faucet
Managing vacation rentals, I’ve been through several kitchen faucets. This is my favorite so far. Pull down attachments break after years of use but I don’t have to worry about that with this one! I’ve installed four already and haven’t had any issues previous reviews mention. The linear spray is also a winning feature.
[Rewarded Review] Love everything about it!
We have a 1960's ranch home with a sink to match so we are not fancy people. We replaced our 8 year old faucet that had a sprayer in the nozzle and was always a pain to get back in, with this one about a month ago and I am so glad we did. You can fit anything under it as it sits super tall, but can also be bent to go lower into the sink, the sprayer sprays off stuck on food with ease, it moves around easily. It's heavy and sturdy.I can't say enough good things about it.I don't part with my money easily so this took some time for me to pull the trigger, but I would do it again! Worth every penny!
[Rewarded Review] Super Suave
I like it. Look like a super expensive unit. Construction is solid brass or copper. I used a single mounting hole. The base plate isn't necessary for the single hole install. Looks super clean without it. Got it on sale for $199.
Love the look, Hate the functionality
We have had this installed for approx. one month, glad I waited to review. It was easy to install and looks good however, I have splashed so much water around my kitchen. I’m guessing the aeration has a problem. Also, the adjustable arm no longer stays up. It has to be the most annoying thing of all! If it happens to stay up for a couple minutes, it will always fall. Are these things defects? So very disappointed in this product. The box is gone but I will ask about returning it. For the price, I only hope we can. Sorry Kohler, it just doesn’t meet my expectations but I am happy that it works for others.
Looks good, works horribly
Upon installing this faucet, we were excited at the flexibility of the height as well as the flat spraying capability to “sweep” food particles into our garbage disposal. After about a month, the tension on adjustable arm went weak, and now the arm won’t stay up at all. It just continues to droop to the lowest height, basically rendering the faucet useless as there is no room from under the faucet to the bottom of the sink - only enough room to wash silverware. Forget abojt washing a bowl. There is also no way to adjust the tension. For as much as this faucet costed, we expected more. DO NOT BUY.
Just installed, had to immediately review!
If you're considering this faucet, YES buy it! My husband and I purchased a Delta Saville, but returned it the same day as it wasn't any higher than our old standard faucet. Plus the Delta was extremely complicated, and my husband and I are not new to DIYing. We've completed many projects around the house. This Kohler faucet, literally took us about 10 minutes to install. It was soooo simple. Literally one page of directions, for this faucet only (not five different models on 6 pages of instructions like the Delta). My only worry is the longevity of the rubber faucet cover. But for the money, if it lasts 5 years, I am happy with my purchase. The articulating arm is just awesome. And the spray is actually a fan spray, which makes cleaning out the sink and washing food particles down the drain a breeze.
Really Enjoying this Faucet
Bought this faucet for a kitchen renovation, after having new counters & sink installed I got right to work installing the new plumbing. The faucet was very simple to install, it came with braided lines already attached that were long enough to reach my shutoffs so that was one less part to buy/connect. The look is very nice and nearly everyone I've shown it to has complimented the faucet. Functionality is even better- the number of positions you can arrange the faucet without disconnecting the faucet head is incredible, I don't know why there aren't more faucets designed this way. It's only been a couple weeks of use but it's such an improvement to our day to day use in the kitchen and I would recommend this unit to others.
looks nice, had potential
Replaced a pull out faucet with this and while I do like the look and that there are less moving parts (leak potential) I am not at all happy with the flow of water in the non spray mode. It is not well aerated and splashes everywhere! I am tempted to take it back, but what a hassle. Maybe the head is not right inside... but all in all that part has me not liking this faucet that much. :-(
1 issue I have with this faucet: temp control
I installed this just like the lovely pictures, with the control on the right side. It installed easier than most kitchen faucets. The issue is that the temp/volume control is not very granular. In that the difference between super hot and very cold is not much. The handle needs to move a greater distance between the extremes. A design flaw that should be easy to fix. Currently the distance is like 11:30 to 12:30, and it needs to be more like 11:00 to 1:00. I even turned the mount so the control faces front so I could visually see and it barely helps. Other than never being able to get the appropriate temp water (except for full hot or full cold) it is great.
We've owned it less than 24 hours...
We've owned it less than 24 hours and the plumbers JUST left 40 minutes ago, but I just HAD to post about it now anyway. I've been looking for something like this that didn't have the hose that could potential get tangled up inside the metal and little bits of metal making that loud "ZOOOOOP" sound. This is classy and refined and looks impressive. I absolutely LOVE that the metal arm swings out, taking the entire faucet and hose together away with it - this opens up the sink 100% for large stock pots. Additionally, the multi spray functions are cool, the soap dispenser looks lovely and while the faucet is quite tall, it adds to the elegance in my opinion. I'm so happy with this purchase. We had a plumber and his assistant come out to install it for us and it took about 30 minutes or so. They were both so impressed, they were planning to head to Lowes on their lunch break to each buy one! It's got a fan club already!
[Rewarded Review] Can't believe how much I love this faucet!
We installed this faucet almost six months ago. It's perfect. The magnetic connection makes it so quick and easy to switch between the upright position and the super-flexy hose to reach all around my sink. No awkward pull-out hose to have to wiggle back into place. Everything about it just works. I feel like I should buy a spare for 20 years down the road.
