Drain is good, but check overflow hole alignment

The product could be installed quite easily, but it was soon discovered that the drain's overflow hole did not align with my sink's overflow hole. So the drain was uninstalled from the sink, and fortunately due to the drain being made from 'soft' plastic it was found relatively easy using a sharp knife to enlarge the drain's overflow hole to align with the sink's overflow hole. Drain including water overflow working well after reinstallation.

Simple

Nice and simple and takes a couple of minutes. The most time consuming part it removing the old stopper. I love it and have 3 of them. I am so happy that I purchased them.

Good product

I have installed 3 of these drains in our home and I find them to be easy to install, work as described and easy to clean. No more chemicals to clean clogged drain, slow running water etc.. Simply pull drain cover up and remove clog, hair etc. and replace.

A little bulky

I like that it is easy to install and use, but 3 stars because it is so bulky and looks unproportional compared to the faucet now almost makes it look cheap. However, price is great and works well so far.

Great drain

Long story short, no cutting, no plumber's putty, no teflon tape, no tools...what a refreshing change of pace from the usual hassles I encounter when embarking on a plumbing project, no matter how small. Great product.

Buy if regular faucet drain stopper won't fit

Worked well for about a year. Started clogging. Pulled the stopper out and plunged the tubing clear. Water followed well. put the stopper back in and its clogged again. Back to Lowes and bought the whole unit for $20. Put the new stopper in and through out the rest. Works fine now. $20 part to make the repair.

Don't throw it away, return it for a refund.

Never in my 50 years of dealing with plumbing issues have a run across a replacement part that is so deficient. Messed with this thing for 4 days trying all sorts of options and it still leaks. Returning it and letting Lowe's know that it says a lot about them that they would carry such garbage

I’m scratching my head

Initially it wouldn’t hold the water. But after a while I’m guessing the seal wore in. I’m puzzled as to why the manufacturers would make a pop up drain that isn’t more flush with the sink? It sticks up at least an inch high?

Easy enough for an idiot

Extremely easy install no other products needed. Longest part of the whole process was removing the old drain which had used plumbing putty and also been backing up 4 years of gunk in the overflow that had to be cleaned out. Actual installation only probably took 2-3 minutes and I don't know anything about plumbing. No need for any additional products such as plumber's putty or tape. Fully self contained. Looks great. Drains better than the old one and seals better than the old one. Best of all also doesn't leak like the old one.

The installation was very easy and straightforward. In total once the old sink drain was out this took about 10 minutes to install. I used a silicone sealant which had a cure time of at least 30 minutes but that was recommended but not necessary.

Fantastic plumbing improvement!

This is one of the greatest innovations to come along. It is SO easy to install! No more fussing with silicone or plumbers putty. The large palm sized tightening nut is very 'handy'. Other competitors use a conventional nut which is not as easy to tighten. Also, no more hassle with the pull up drain closer. That thing is a thing of the past. Good riddance!

Easy

By far the easiest plumbing installation of my life. I had already removed the old drain plug & piping. This one installed in less than 10 mins with no leaks the first time. I especially like the beefy nut that holds everything secure. No special tools or busted knuckles. Definitely, will consider this option the next time I need to repair sink drain. Great product!!!

I needed to find a replacement for the drain in the bathroom sink of our home. Since we have been stuck at home a lot more with the pandemic we have been fixing and updating stuff around the house. This sink drain replacement kit was easy to install even for us newbies to home improvement like my husband and I are. There's very clear, easy to understand directions printed on the back of the packaging that really came in handy and made the install very easy. It took us less than 10 minutes to complete the entire project. This sink drain is very well made with strong sturdy plastic. I love how the stopper is removable so I can easily clean it out when my long hair gets wrapped around it. The chrome top matches our faucet perfectly and makes a very attractive appearance. I will be getting another one of these so I can replace the drain in our other bathroom as well.

HOW CAN IT LOOK SO GOOD & BE SO EASY TO INSTALL?

This us an exceptionally nice looking drain stopper for a bathroom vanity. What makes it even better us the ease of installation! Seriously, a child could drop this into a sink basin and be successful. Bear in mind that you might need additional length attached to the the drain stem in order to reach your next section of pipe, depending on whether your water comes through the wall or through the floor. I forgot to consider this when I purchased the drain stop, and had to make a second trip to the store for an additional piece of pvc pipe made specifically for that purpose in order to complete the installation.
