Designer of this product was not thinking clearly!

The way this was designed, it will not hold even a small roll of toilet paper properly. The bottom of the roll (even when half the paper is gone from the roll) scrapes the bottom of the holder. The spring loaded plastic bar which fits into the metal arms is way too low (see my photo). The designer likely designed it not taking into account that a roll of toilet paper will HANG down with the top of inner cardboard tube resting on the plastic bar. It was obviously designed with the center of of a roll of toilet paper as the the measurement (which is wrong). In my photo, one can see how much room there is ABOVE the roll and how there is ZERO space below the roll. Poorly designed....I do not recommend.

Were having our bathroom remolded and wanted a little of the old style fixtures...this toilet paper holder fit the bill.

No problems
